4. It's greedflation. Ramped up by Covid, but they're tickled pink by the war.

8. Seems to be lots of gas for sale at a very high price. No dry gas pumps I know of.

9. Republicans control the economy

The see high prices and inflation as hurting Democrats, so we are in for it. To a wealthy person, they do not even pay attention to prices at the grocery or at the pump, it just doesn't matter. When you live on Social Security, a dollar increase in the cost of gasoline or $7.00/lbs for hamburger is significant.

11. On September 1, 2001, gas stations around here jacked their prices up to 10 to 12 dollars per gallon

People were outraged, and within a day or two prices had gone back to normal.

That was called out around the country as profiteering, and everyone saw that clearly.

Now, what was called profiteering is called smart business.

 :whatever:

so... ten days before 9/11?

DUmbass...

This is nothing new. All inflations are blamed on people who charge money for goods and services. People who are educated, and who are reasonable, and who might have taken a macroeconomics course or two, know that you can't print money at Biden rates without the MV=PQ equality eventually catching up. On a related note, Modern Monetary Theory is a bunch of unproven horseshit from saltwater economics programs. Milton Friedman is laughing from heaven at the collection of numbnuts running the show.

Buy and store gold, folks, as well as lead and bread.

It's Biden's war so it's still Biden's inflation.

Ummmmmm ... US inflation did a big jump in April 2021, and has been climbing pretty steadily ever since. How is this inflation "war profiteering" when it began nearly a year before Putin's invasion?

Art Laffer is doing the same and he's still alive.  It baffles me how stupid lefties continue to vote for idiots who have never worked a day outside of academia or government institutions. That's one of the reasons why President Trump's administration (for all his foibles) was so refreshing.

As my Cuban friend in SW Florida would say to this liar ...

"Cojones" which is a vulgar reference to testicles!  :-)
