Title: Freedom Convoy conversations on YouTube

So, listened to 2600 magazine (hacker mag) radio show Off The Hook last night, cause I haven't listened to it for a while mostly due to time, some because their leftist leanings are getting bad since 2016 (mag is still usually good, covers mostly technical stuff, not politics, but some does still get in).  Anywho, they are talking about the Freedom Convoy, and the finding that some of it's members are using an app that works like a CB radio to chat among themselves, and some hackers found a way into the channel and have recorded several days worth of those communications.  2600 is sharing it all on Youtube, and are sadly claiming it has lots of racist bull squeeze, stupid conspiracy theories, ignorance of laws, government, ect.

Even if those are accurate, it begs questions, like how many of the truckers/participants were actually using the app and communicating on it?  There were what 3000 trucks?  Even if there are a couple of hundred on this channel, that's a small percentage of participants, and would not be a good representation of the whole thing.  But sadly, politics blinds many.

If anyone wishes to investigate, the channel is linked up top.  I may try to listen to some more.

Link to the radio show.  Don't wish to go moonbat and make claims with no support.   :-)

More to the point, there is NO WAY to verify without extensive forensic rummaging thru the metadata of the files these leftists claim to have "recorded" that the conversations are actual, unaltered comm chatter over this app, or something cobbled together by parties unnamed to create a false narrative. For all we know, this shit they purport to have "recorded" could just be a few of their left-leaning buddies intending to create "fake but accurate" evidence for public consumption.

Yep, it's not like there haven't been more than a few fake "hate crimes" perpetrated by minorities looking to play the victim card -- Jussie Smollett being the more idiotic of them.

The lefties are good at poisoning the well. Sending in agitators to peaceful demonstrations to make them look bad. :argh:

Both those thoughts crossed my mind as well. I would argue that there is about a day and a half worth recordings posted, which is a lot of content to fake.  There are a lot of bored, unemployed moonbats out there who would think that faking such stuff would be genius level psy-ops though, so it is well within the realm of possibility.

Well when you see what happened with the russia hoax and the 2020 election I don't think it's to far fetched. There are plenty of people out there with to much free time and to much vitrol and hate to make it possible.

It's like when I read posts from the dump I think can this be real?
