2. I rarely am in a business with a TV that's turned on.
However, I have been known to change channels or turn it off entirely. I just don't understand the need to have a TV on in a waiting room. Well, okay, maybe have one that's tuned to the Aquarium Channel. Other than that, people can wait quietly. Read a book. Play a game on a cell phone. Write a letter to a friend.
I hate public TVs.

9. I have done so.

I will politely ask if they will change the channel. In a fast food joint, I was once told that the owner/manager insisted that Fox News be on. So, I told the counter staff to tell the manager that she had lost a customer, who would be telling others to avoid this restaurant. Then I left without ordering.
I did go back there, three or four years later. The television was tuned to ESPN!

DUMMIE WINS!

11. I've done it three times...
once in a dentists office, and twice in a auto service center, the channel was changed in the dentists office, turned off in one of the auto service centers, and told me to talk to the general manager in the second service center. After talking to him, they turned it off.
Sometimes you just have to let them know, no more bullshit!

The war is being won!

Funny little creatures, aren't they? I've sat in more damn airports with CNN than I care to admit during my time as a defense contractor. Couldn't even get anywhere out of Augusta without going through Atlanta. My mind is strong enough to listen to differing opinions without throwing a Damn temper tantrum like a ****ing child.

These are not serious people. They're lower than betas and couldn't survive in the wild.

I always suggest going full on "Doug Bulna" and hide the remote in the rafters.

I seldom pay attention to TVs in businesses, because I don't much care. About the only exception would be on the treadmill at the gym, because doing miles on a treadmill freaking boring. At my gym, there might be one TV showing Fox, 3 or 4 showing BMM and MesSNBC, several showing various sports events, a couple with local news, and a couple showing video ads for the gym chain.

As have I,  been subjected to listening to CNN in airports many times and just seemingly pretend to ignore such rubbish ...

While actually, keeping my mouth SHUT & not "throwing a Damn temper tantrum like a ****ing child."

Convenient to just use the last letter of the Greek alphabet: Omega.

I'd recommend this for the DUmp, but surreptitiously turning off those offending TVs would not feed their desperate need for attention and drama, assuming any of those confrontations actually happen outside these moonbats addled minds.

33. Back before
My license was suspended( I think the cop had it out for my = bumper sticker). I had taken my car in for service at the dealer. While I was waiting in the service area, I saw that fox was on. I grabbed the remote from the coffee bar, changed the channel to MSNBC then took the batteries from the remote. The service manager came in and asked what happened to the channel and said that he was sick to death of people messing with his news shows. I just looked up from my sailor moon fan fiction I was writing and said nothing, smiling on the inside

20. I once asked a cashier in a busy Wendy's if she could change the channel....

from Fox to CNN. The harried cashier *handed me the remote* and said I could do it myself. So I found CNN, switched to it, then pulled up the menu to look for parental controls. There I *locked out* Fox Noise and Fox Business channels, and set my own PIN key for the controls. Then I gave the remote back to the cashier. Now they can't get to Fox until they can figure out the PIN!

The small victories can be really sweet!

Remote controls always bring out the stupid bouncies.  This did not happen.

Depending on the State, a DL can be suspended for allowing insurance to lapse, failure to pay Child Support and if one accrues enough points via traffic infractions.

Neither of which an officer can ascertain before pulling over someone. And both of which involve a court decision. The DUmmie implied that the officer pulled him over for a bumper or car window sticker and suspended his license on the spot, an obvious lie. IOW, there’s no direct path from the sticker being seen to license suspension that does not include something significant or serious, and a court decision.

Hmmm............I was reading it as if he kept getting stopped and cited due to his "=" sticker.

Ah, well.

And then the entire Wendy's crown cheered and the applause was so great that the fry cooks stopped and started yelling and clapping. When I left a latinx transgender came up and shook my hand and said "Thank you for your bravery."

Haven't set foot inside a chain fast food joint in years (only an occasional drive-thru pit stop), but I don't even remember them ever even having TV's.
