Trump committed this con one time too many.
Commit your crime out in the open and hope people don't notice or don't take it seriously. Trump was, is like a broken record when it comes to the way he commits crimes, entraps people, uses revenge to control people, etc.
When Trump decided to attempt a coup out in the open, he went too far. People notice when you try to over throw their country. Trump is not a smart man and he went too far. Not even his lawyers can save his ass this time, because his lawyers are also going down. Trump is going to pay a heavy price.

If something worked for him once, he assumes it will always work. He apparently doesn't allow for the possibility that perhaps his predictable exploits might fail and that he could pay a price. Of course, the times that his cons don't work to his advantage, he just passes the blame to someone else, his standard fallback option.

18. Reading his recent court filings makes it clear his lawyers won't save him.
They're terrible. For example, in his lawsuits against Twitter, Facebook, & YouTube they make a dubious legal argument, then cite a case that directly contradicts their argument. It's like make the argument, then shoot it down themselves in the next paragraph.
It makes me wonder if they're really that bad (law school dropouts?) or if they figured out they can con Trump the way he cons everyone else & get rich billing him a lot of hours (if he pays) by filing pages & pages of nonsense with the courts.

amend the Constitution to dis-allow the presidential pardoning of convictions for acts of treason.

24. Chump's criminal behavior started long before he became Potus
Chump and his father were skirting laws in New York while they were building and renting properties with federal funds, and then discriminated against anyone they didn't like. He built casinos in Atlantic City and used them to illegally launder money for the mob and for Russian oligarchs. Well we call them oligarchs now, but back in the 80's and '90s they were just Russian gangsters using stolen money. Chump's record as a lousy businessman is well-known (4 bankruptcies) and non-payment of taxes, failure to pay subcontractors etc. He's been bad news from the get-go.
Why the hell did anyone think it was a good idea for him to run for President? Why did the Repukes even want a thief, liar and cheat? The man has not an honest bone in his body. It's puzzling to say the least. Now they're stuck with him and they'll all go down together.

The DUmmy is right on that point.
Just look at the news stories from california the past few months that showed the flash mob smash and grab public burglaries, and the train rail cars getting picked thru in broad daylight.
The criminals know that there are no consequences to their actions with the liberal DA's in los angeles and san francisco who refuse to file charges so they continue to rob and steal without a care in the world
