Who still believes that Trump was a Putin asset?
If he was, it would explain a lot of the puzzle pieces.

As I recall, many of us believed him to be a Russian agent or Putin "asset" while he was the President of the United States.

If that were true, it would be the grandest conspiracy ever.

Of course, once in power, there would be nothing they would not do to stay in power. Stealing an election would be the least of their concerns.

If we were really into conspiracy theories, we could tie the present threat of war in the Ukraine to the possible exposure of the Russian asset that was willing to incite an insurrection and attempt to overthrow an American election.

If anyone was really into conspiracy theories...

He allowed a weak leader to take his place, so that Putin could have his way with Ukraine. Obviously.

Which President shut down the Russian Nordstream 2 gas pipeline?

Which President reapproved the Russian Nordstream 2 gas pipeline?

Which President approved the gas pipeline from Israel to EuroLand?

Which President disapproved the gas pipeline from Israel to EuroLand?

Which President called a potential Russian invasion of the heavy industry Donbas region of Ukraine a "minor incursion"?

Tell me again which President is a Putin asset?

It is weird how they think the whole Trump-Putin conspiracy works.  Under Obama, Putin invades the Ukraine and takes the Crimea.  Under Biden, Putin threatens to take all of the Ukraine, and Biden goes on national television to give Russia permission to do so.  Under Trump, the normal level of saber-rattling and diplomatic BS, but no threats to take any territory or risk any new armed conflicts.  So what's changed in the White House to embolden Putin?  And what was the quid pro quo from Trump to Putin?  Allowing Russia to expand into Ukraine is certainly a huge concession, but so far only Obama and Biden have made that concession.  So what benefit to Putin does this supposed relationship with Trump serve?  So far, Biden has rolled over on the Nordstream pipeline and he's trying to turn his back on Ukraine, so which President's actions towards Russia are questionable?  And, of course, <tin foil hat on> one must wonder if Hunter Biden's business relationships in Ukraine play a role in any of this <tin foil hat off>.
