Somebody, But Somebody Is Gonna Spill The Beans On Tr**p....
This somebody will make a calculated decision - "it's either him or me and it ain't gonna be me" - and they are going to spill at the mouth and sink Tr**p.
I think this moment is coming soon.
The question is - who is this 'somebody' gonna be?
Hmmmm.........

1. I agree with you
I've been thinking that for a while now. Yet, who could it be? I wonder if it could be one of his kids.

7. Whomever It's Gonna Be Will Go Down In History As....
the person that toppled the worst president ever and also the most hated person of our lifetime.
They will become famous. Garner a lot of attention.
I think we're in for some real interesting times.

10. I believe you are right on this. The DOJ will have their work handed to them. Someone will spill the beans and that will end the shenanigans of the repug party for a generation as far as winning most elections. Which makes me wonder how they could win electios with only 29% (read it somewhere recently) of the electorate.

5. I think they already have.
Lots of people have already come to the committee voluntarily. We don't know who they are, but I think at least a couple have given testimony that implicated Trump. Mark Meadows gave up his text messages, which show that the people closest to Trump believed he was directing the coup, or at least he was allowing it to take place without interfering. They probably have enough to send his case to Justice and have him indicted, but I think they're trying to get some irrefutable evidence before they do that.

8. I think they already have, and I suspect the AG has already spoken with that person or persons. The
question is there enough to indict trump, and will the AG do it?

16. The DOJ, we know, is actively exchanging information with the J6 Committee...
We should also know that any DOJ investigation that leads to a GJ indictment, especially one that's so far-reaching that it includes members of Congress, must be so thorough that Justice knows all of the answers before they ask questions. So it makes sense that, if the J6 Committee has incriminating evidence, so does the DOJ, and vice versa.
Logically, if the DOJ has incriminating evidence, they must prosecute. They have no choice. Given what the J6 Committee has already uncovered, no prosecutions from the DOJ means that the DOJ is no longer a functioning arm of the Executive Branch.
IOW, if there are no prosecutions of the organizers of the insurrection, then our nation has already undergone a successful coup, and that what we're seeing and reading in the daily news about "investigations" and potential prosecutions of the enablers and organizers is nothing but window dressing-- a Potemkin exercise intended to mollify the masses, but with no meaningful consequences. It also means that the next insurrection attempt will be a cakewalk, and the Capitol and perhaps the White House will be overrun by the new Barbarians. But only if the Barbarians don't already have the keys to the doors. If all of that is true, Biden may as well resign and invite Trump back to the White House.
But no. Even given that the federal government, including the DOJ, is peppered with Trumpian fascists, there are simply too many professional staff at DOJ who would fight to the death to preserve the Union and the Constitution. If the DOJ did not have designs on prosecuting co-conspirators to the insurrection, the leaking of that intent within the department would be the kind of news that would circulate all over the globe in seconds. Right now, the evidence uncovered by the J6 Committee is so abundant and powerful that prosecutions are more predictable than the dawning of tomorrow's day.
So all of this is coming to a head. The J6 Committee is the rooster that crows at the first light of day. The DOJ will be the morning sunshine. It's either inevitable, or the nation has already collapsed.

17. Is Ms Maxwell's sentence set in stone, or is there room to negotiate, using inside information?
Just a random thought, this morning.

Maxwell hasn't even been sentenced yet. She theoretically could give out information and perhaps get some leniency, but that's not looking likely.
In case anyone doesn't know, the point of this trial isn't to get to the bottom of anything; it's a show trial to assure us that the authorities (led by James Comey's daughter, funnily enough) are punishing those responsible, while other perpetrators stay safe.

I think all the DU posters above, should be rounded up & placed in a rubber room.
As for OLDMDDEM (738 posts) ...
I'd like to invite him/her over to spend New Years's Eve with us and bring a bottle of whatever it was, he's been drinking! :rotf: :rotf:

The context varies, but, "Somebody's going to drop dime on Bogey Trump," threads are like a DU monthly.

One thing I still am perplexed by is the visceral hatred toward President Trump, pretty much since he announced his candidacy. Even normally rational people went bat-guano crazy in their hate.
Was it that he beat the anointed one, Hillary Rodham Clinton? His money? I even really don't think it was about his politics, but no matter what he said it had to be automatically ripped to shreds by leftists.
Like many of you, he wasn't my first, second, or third choice in 2016. My state did its job and selected Ted Cruz, but as the year evolved voters in other parts of our country picked Trump. Then the more I heard him I agreed with his policy outlines.
Maybe it'll be that puzzle that I'll never unwrap.

hasn't happened yet, most likely because there are no beans to spill
and you may want to check the spell check feature of your browser. It's Trump, not Tr**p

If *I* may correct him.
Hey, globalfool ...
It's Trump not Tr**p.

If they haven't found someone in all this time to "spill the beans" then there probably aren't any beans to spill. Should someone come forth now their story would be immediately suspect.

Someone will spill the beans...
...and then sop it up with a paper towel. No big deal.

You would think that by now that bunch of dipshits would be tired of that lie. :thatsright: :mental: :loser: :loser: :loser:

After two bogus impeachments, and multiple investigations you would think someone would have cracked by now but no one has. that means Trump is clean. There is nothing to use against him.

Maybe it'll be that puzzle that I'll never unwrap.
I think some of it was Trump provided results, not talk. He exposed the reality of the swamp. He paved the way for a strengthened military, lowered unemployment, stronger economy and finally energy independence. The MSM, and the dummies were physically ill from eating crow 3 meals a day.
Its why Al Sharpton lost so much weight.
