Should Hillary run in 2024?
My sense is that Joe won't run again. He's doesn't seem physically up to it, in my humble estimation. I think he'll voluntarily decide not to run.
There is no heir apparent in national Democratic leadership. Tons of Dems will rush in and make the whole thing look like a monkey-****. The field will be so large and boisterous that it'll fracture the left end of the spectrum and toss the election to the Republicans no matter who their candidate ends up being.
We all know Trump will run and will get the Republican nomination. This is so certain to happen, than we must start preparing for that very race right now.
Dems need to start promoting a national leader starting right now - like, this week. Someone competent, likeable, charismatic and strong who will appeal to all but that bottom-feeding 30% right-wingnut contingent.
If not, then we must be up to a 2016 Hillary v. Donald re-match. No other national Democratic leader can beat TFG.
If there is a nationally known Dem who could beat Trump - assuming we could cut through the voter suppression crap that Repubs have laid in - than who would it be? Respond with your chosen candidate and say why.

5. I always think HRC should run bc she can win again.
I think in order to save the Republic anyone would do anything. Including the VP going for VP again until this crisis has passed. Hard to say.

6. No way.
Her name was ruined by the media, and it doesn't matter how well she could do. It's a damned shame for sure, but we don't need anymore setbacks. As much as I hate it, Hillary's time has passed.
I think Biden will likely run again (and win). It's a winning formula and we should stick with i

8. No. Unless one wants TFG to become TCG (The Current Guy)...
Or DeathSantis or whoever the 'pukes choose.
Regardless of my opinions of her capabilities, her morals, her policy positions, or whether or not I prefer her to some other possible candidate... That need not be considered. The only question is: would she win?
I strongly suspect she would lose to TFG or a generic Repuke in 2024 if she were the Democratic nominee.

16. Aren't you just adorable. You must have missed President Biden's remarks recently
about running again, epecially if the f'n, murdering, orange TRAITOR** runs.
And do, please, enlighten us as to your not-so-humble sense of President Biden's poor health.

20. I read a couple of days ago that the most successful Democrats have been either
charismatic outsiders (like Clinton or Obama) or Southerners. Personally, I think Mayor Pete would make the best president, but I don't think he could be elected. He's not exactly a dynamo.

24. Michelle Obama could win, but I doubt she'd be interested
and I wouldn't blame her for not wanting to put their family through the D.C. grinder again especially in these polarizing times that Trump unleashed.

29. Please no.
If there is an opening, she could run for the Senate and possibly become Senate Leader. She could be nominated forr the Supreme Court, but with her age, I don't think it would happen. I think Obama would make a great Chief Justice although he would have to talk his wife into it.

36. Why isn't Biden "physically up to it"? "No heir apparent"? Did the VP disappear?
Why will "the left end of the spectrum" fracture? "Likeable"?
Trump wasn't/isn't physically up to it either, the Republican primary in 2016 was large, he ran a horrible campaign and was the most "flawed candidate" in history, people said they didn't like him but voted for him anyway. He was the perfect candidate, an anti-establishment populist (who did everything the establishment wanted when it came to tax cuts) who was openly racist. That's why they voted for him.

52. NO.
As for Trump running again being "certain" - it's not even likely.
He's losing whatever grip he still holds on the GOP - along with his grip on reality. His supporters are turning on him because of his recent pro-vax remarks, and they're turning on each other.
Many of the politicians he's endorsed have lost, and his political allies (aka co-conspirators) are either cooperating with the Jan/6 committee or taking the 5th - not a good look.
He's facing countless lawsuits - and all his recent courtroom losses means he has "loser stench" all over him.
When the Jan/6 hearings go public in the new year, facts will be exposed that even his staunchest supporters will be unable to deny, or make excuses for.
As for the PTB in the GOP, even those who would love to see TFG back in the White House will understand that it's just too far a stretch to try and rehabilitate the public image of a man who's been so thoroughly shown to be corrupt.
As for Trump himself, he won't risk losing - again. He will go to his grave insisting that he really did win in 2020. If he runs again and loses - which he would - it will serve as evidence that 2020 probably wasn't a "win" either, and that's something he can't live with.
That's why he's still on the "2020 election was stolen from me" bullshit - because he's got nothing else. And even the dumbest Republican understands that that's not a winning platform.

"Run"? Try "Waddle", or "Stumble". That's about what Her Thighness is capable of doing.

This is possible given that the democrat party no longer requires a belief in the constitution or rule of law.

Hon, please... :whatever:
pResident Shit-for-Brains is so far gone, he'd need 3 huge level-ups just to rise to the exalted rank of "Lame Duck pResident".
#JoeThePedophile's current ranking is "George Soros' Sock Puppet", and he's got A LOT of experience points to accrue before he can even level up to "Marxist Marionette", and get the puppeteer's hand out of his ass.

Besides, conserves don't give dems advice on how to beat us.

Out of curiosity...has anyone considered that Joe may have syphilis? I mean, there could be brain eating outbreaks at kindergartens at his campaign stops that we aren't even aware of.

Should run from or for what? I do believe she should be running from the Feds right now but she's still comfortable on this side of the prison's bars.

The Democrat primaries are going to be fun, this thread was just a little foretaste of the amusement to come.
Joe "God's Gift to America" Biden should run vs. obvious reality that he will barely be able to stand by then.
V.P. Harris is the natural successor and if you have any doubts about this you're a racist vs. obvious reality that she's a disaster
Hilary is what's needed to beat Trump vs. obvious reality that she's a loser, especially against Pres. Trump
And all manner of other permutations of DUmp drivel versus obvious reality.
-
Harris will be the next Dem nominee whether she replaces an institutionalized Biden in '24 or has to wait until '28 if he hangs in long enough to be beaten in the next election. The Dems are now victims of their own PC-ness, and any attempt to pass the crown to someone else, unless it is another female minority, will be looked on as racism/sexism within the party.
I don't think they were actually expecting Biden to win when they installed her as his running mate for show purposes, but now they're stuck with her.
-
In her condition, no, she should not run.
But jogging a few times a week, in between bottles of mad dog, might lead to renewed interest from bill.
Budum-tiss.
-
IMO, the Dem Party should beg her not to run, if only because she is neither physically nor mentally fit to run. Then there's her fragile entitled ego ...
