Should all members of Congress who refuse to appear before the Jan. 6th committee, Be forced to lose their positions on Congressional committees?

I think that should be considered. Would evidence of obstruction of their investigation , and evidence they conspired to overthrow our Democracy be grounds for removal from Congress? If there aren't serious consequences for members of Congress for crimes against our government, this will continue , and get a lot worse.

3. Sounds like admirable idea

Thought about it is not. When we lose Congress, which may happen sooner if we don't get brighter, what will stop the opposition from having a show trial in retribution?

Give the Republicans an opportunity to strike back and they may take it. Two years from now, setting this precedent, may see our best and brightest on trial, for any number of trumped up charges. In that case I would applaud any who ignore the summons.

The 1/6 committee is viewed as a political hammer by many Independent and a majority of Republican voters. Right or wrong, their feelings on the matter are as important to them as ours are to us. They may be more likely to vote emotionally rather than logically and that will hurt us all. Electing more Democratic representatives is much more important than this situation. Elect our folks and these critters will have no power, only foul wind issuing from both orifices.

5. Exactly. And about the filibuster, if we don't get rid

of or at least significantly modify it, they will.

Pelosiroo's Kangaroo Kourt is operating in violation of the terms of the resolution that created it. So every member of Pelosiroo's Kangaroo Kourt should not be in Congress. Good thinking! :fuelfire:

note to all DUmmies

The American voter doesn't care one wit about January 6.  They are worried about rampant inflation, high gas/fuel oil prices, out of control illegal immigration and a form of lawlessness that makes us look like a third world shithole, but you go on with your J6 circle jerk, but don't blame racism, misogamy or cheating when your party gets schlonged in the 2022 midterms
