Cafe Sign Looking for Staff Who 'Doesn't Cry, Is Never Late, Has No Excuses' Blasted Online
A café sign advertising vacant positions has been slammed online, after the chain claimed they were looking for staff members who don't cry, are never late and have "no excuses." A snap of the note, which has the branding for the popular juice chain Kreation, was shared to Twitter by Jenson Titus on Monday, where it amassed more than 34,000 likes.
It causes quite a stir online, as SpencerMagne wrote: "Am I crazy or did they just write a job requirement for a slave?"
Not everyone was against the note, as Evil Morty wrote: "Where does this note blame anyone? You want a person that is always late with lame excuses and cries every week? A person who doesn't do the job and let the others with more work to do? Obviously you never managed a team in your life."
The job pays $15 an hour plus tips, with prospective employees required to "be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30 pounds up to 5 times per shift. "Champions Kreation Service with energetic, friendly, and prompt greetings immediately upon making eye contact with guests." As well as being able to work evenings and weekends, the ideal candidate is "energetic, fun, and friendly."

6. "Has No Bullsh*t"?
Oh, that is very enticing.
Perhaps if they stated the qualifications as positive, instead of negative, it would be more appealing. Instead of "Is never late", it should read, "punctual". "Smiles no matter what" rather implies the job is pure hell. "Friendly faces" would probably attract more prospects. And "Doesn't cry"??? What kind of a business are they running?
I have a feeling they are not going to find "That Special Person". It seems that their employee problems are more likely because of management failures.

7. Who would walk in and apply for a job with that description?
Employers should be nice, too. That’s not nice.

9. Lets take a look at what they pay for this...
Barista / Smoothie Production - $15hr +Tips (in LA) - **** That, you want perfection+, you better offer pay to match
DUmmies, and Leftists in general, want to settle on a salary, accept the job, then after they're hired decide how much effort they personally put forth based on their subjective decision on whether the pay makes it worthy of their effort, rather than do what they contracted to do in the first place.
This in a nutshell is the problem with the merit-free aspect of socialism/communism. There's always going to be a number of workers in the collective who figure, "**** it, I'm guaranteed an equal portion of the pie so I'll just coast." The workload gets transferred to others, resentment builds and everyone slacks off or produces only what they can keep for themselves. It's human nature, people get tired of carrying others who refuse to do for themselves.

based on the response from the DUmp, they could have saved typespace with a sign that reads, "DUmmies need not apply"

Yep! Sounds like someone got tired of hiring liberals.

The most telling response was "hire a robot." Eventually, they will hire a robot, and then the DUpipo will be screaming that they should have hired a real person.

I obviously live in a different working world than do those DUmmies ... assuming any of them actually have jobs. As job qualifications go, those are pretty minimal. I could detail why those characteristics are necessary for a cafe', but y'all understand as well or better than I do, and DU-onlurkers would refuse to understand.
I suspect the cafe's sign is a sort of pre-sort, driving off flakes and whiners without the owner or manager ever having to meet them.
WRT DUpipo, I wonder how many of them routinely complain if their order takes 5 minutes longer than they think it should ... or whine when the server doesn't check them out regularly enough due to being short-staffed ... or is horrified when a server is too chummy and familiar ... etc., etc., etc.. I suspect that when some DUpipo walk into a restaurant the servers draw straws to see who has to wait on them ... and the DUmmies leave a minimal tip for excellent service.

Sounds like several jobs I've had and applied for in the past, none of which paid anything close to $15/hr.

First of all, when you are late to work, please desist from acting offended when I write you up, fire you, or otherwise punish you. The schedule we run is not posted as a "good suggestion" but an actual timetable (and legal document) that you are required to work.
I had a flight chief in the USAF who would often say "Early is on time, on time is late, late is unacceptable"
I'm sure he would be reported by snowflakes for harassment if he had that attitude today

Paid, not forced to work there and is free to quit at anytime.
SpencerMagne...you are crazy.

No, they have this expectation that, as automation increases, the Government will be compelled to provide free money to the displaced workers. That the entire basis of "universal basic income". They believe that as companies become more efficient and the cost to produce goods goes down, the companies should be punished with higher taxes to pay for them to sit at home smoking dope and watching TV. And, of course, no matter how much free money they might get it'll never be enough.
