FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Parents gathered outside the Fairfax County School Board meeting on Thursday, voicing their opposition to what they term pedophilia and "porn in schools" after Fairfax County Public Schools reintroduced two books containing depictions of sexual activity.
"They’ve doubled down on porn in the schools. They’ve all got to go," Stacy Langton, the Fairfax County mother who confronted the school board with images from the books in September, told Fox News. "Who’s in favor of porn in the schools?"

Thursday marks the first school board meeting since FCPS reintroduced the controversial books. "Lawn Boy" by Jonathan Evison includes long sections of a boy reminiscing about explicit experiences he had at 10 years old, and "Gender Queer: A Memoir," by Maia Kobabe includes photos of sexual acts between a boy and a man.
Hopefully these parents understand that many school board members are teachers union shills, and teachers unions "own" a big piece of the Dem Party. Like in Loudoun County, these board members will likely do whatever they damn please and try to sic the Feds on protesting parents.

Where the **** is NoVA coming up with all of these ****ing school board members who under any other circumstance wouldn't be allowed within 500 yards of a school?
First the shit stains in Loudoun County, now Fairfax County? Sounds to me like the entire NoVA area needs to be nuked from orbit and have done with the damned place.

Back in the late 90s and early 00s, when parents were pushing for better quality and higher standards in education, the teachers unions fought back, using members' dues $$. So after a couple of election cycles the decent people that concerned parents had voted in - the parents were revolting, :rimshot: - had been replaced with union shills who had had union $$ funding their campaigns. Over time, many of those union shills got replaced with other union shills; in parallel, Libs & Progs have gotten loonier and more tyrannous (and many northern Virginia voters are Federal bureaucrats).
Recovering in many school districts to something less loony and maybe focusing on educating children with necessary life skills will take a decades-long sustained replacement of union shills and arrogant educrats with parents and grandparents who actually have a stake in the children of the school districts excelling.

People stopped paying attention to who was running for school boards and such. Then the Boards decided to obscure what was actually being taught in schools. Until they overreached with CRT.

That obfuscation got compromised by Covid-shutdown Zoom-schooling. Parents could see/hear first-hand what their sons and daughters were being taught.
