Does anyone else think this Palin thing is a ruse? The Karl Rove republicans aren't this stupid.
 I think they have something up their sleeve. Maybe they are sacrificing Palin and letting her draw fire away from McSame and at the last minute she will step down and Romney will step in. This would save the Mitchmeister from facing Joe Biden. While we are all having a good laugh keep our hands on our wallets.

35. They were smart enough to win in 2000 and 2004. Sorry if I am skeptical. nm

4. Yes, they are. KKKarl was never the political genius he was reported to be;
 he just lied, cheated, and stooped lower than anyone else would...that's his only advantage.

36. Yes but........most of his tricks have worked and he is still free doing more tricks. I will feel
 better if he were in jail.

7. i agree
 Rove is the master of dirty tricks. This whole thing was somehow planned by him. I don't know how--and I don't know if we will ever get to the bottom of it--but there are no depths to which Rove will not sink to discredit Obama. That I do know for sure.

9. It does seem strange
 that they would choose a VP with so much baggage. These evil twerps never do anything without a reason. I'm not sure what's going on here, but I'm inclined to be very, very suspicious.

Mostly an entire thread of:  "They aren't that smart."  "yes they are"  "No they aren't"  "are"  "Aren't".........

Are DUmmies really this stupid?  The Palin nom was a knight's move, played with genius, and it has their party's whole strategy (including the pick of Biden as VP) in disarray.

     God, what idiots. They just can't see anything for what it is.

     OK, DUmmies, come out from the salvia cloud and I will tell you what probably happened: McCain liked Palin, so they started kicking over the major rocks - financial, legal - you know, the things that actually matter. Along the way, she pulled someone aside and said her daughter was pregnant. The campaign probably said WHOA, only to have McCain say he didn't give a shit. "After all," I can imagine John McCain saying, "Obama's own mother pointed her toes at God when she was 18, and look how he turned out!" Then they sat in a room and someone said, "But what if people ask whether she should stay home to tend to her family? That seems like a reasonable question." Again, John McCain probably said, "you mean, like Joe Biden did when his family got wiped out by a drunk driver? I mean, here's a 30-year-old kid elected to Senate, and his wife and daughter are killed, and he STILL shows up to work despite having two boys in the hospital. Did Joe Biden stay home to help two young boys with serious injuries overcome the trauma of losing their mother? Nope. And Palin is what, 43, with her husband holding down the fort? If Biden can do it with one arm tied behind his back, Palin can do it twice as well, twice as fast."

     That's probably what happened, in case you were wondering, DUmmies.
