Title: Should Rittenhouse be judged by how old he was when he committed the crime?

Should Rittenhouse be judged by how old he was when he committed the crime?

Or how old he is now?

He is eighteen now but was seventeen when the crime was committed? Should that be part of the jury deliberations?

It is amazing that so few are talking about how easy it was for a seventeen-year old to get his hands on an AR-15 with 30-round clips?

Perhaps that is worthy of more discussion?

2. I want to know why his mother wasn't arrested for aiding and abetting

She drove him across state line and most surely knew that he had the gun and was underage to own a gun.

4. No she didn't

The belief that she drove him there is a testament to the power of false information on social media. This bullshit gets posted here practically every day without end.

There is no evidence that Wendy Rittenhouse, who has not been charged with a crime, drove her son to Kenosha, and no evidence that Kyle Rittenhouse was armed when he left their Illinois home. According to court documents and testimony, Kyle Rittenhouse arrived in Kenosha on his own and went to the protest with a friend who provided him with the gun. The gun was kept at the home of the friend’s stepfather in Kenosha.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure R was tried as an adult, and other than arguing the particulars of WI's gun law - due to the now-dismissed charge in which his age was an element - his age has not been a significant issue (nor a minor issue, probably).

No, he should be judged by the fact that he's innocent. So innocent that the prosecutor had to manipulate evidence to even have something resembling a case.

He shows his ignorance in the continual usage of question marks where they don't belong.

I wonder if he talks like that?

Of the two, I'm more likely to forgive this idiot's ignorance than the prosecutor pointing an unverified weapon at the jury with his booger hook on the bang switch.

The latter was weapons-grade stupid on public display.

Use DuckDuckGo, Bing, Google or any other browser and look up the map between where Rittenhouse was from in Illinois to Kenosha.  Approximately 15-20 miles.

To them it's a high capacity, mega killing, rapid fire, hyper-subsonic "clip" with automatic capabilities.
