Yesterday at Publix Supermarket

I like Publix for several reasons. However at checkout the young bagger was wearing his required (store says employees must wear masks- customers encouraged, but not denied entrance) around his chin. Clever little snot.

I said, "Is your chin going to get Covid". He replied, "Could be" I told him I wanted the mask worn properly if he was going to bag my stuff. He pulled it over his mouth. "How about over your nose too" I requested.

The check out clerk , I noticed then pulled her mask over her nose.

The little snot (at a loss for a better word) completed his bagging, and wished me "Have a good day"- but I could hear "You old fart" behind his words.

Of course I complained to the manager who gave a look of resignation and said he'd look into it.

The kid really infuriated me with his oh-so-clever interpretation of the store's policy.

Think I'll write a letter to the head office.

Wife said I'm an old, grumpy fart - damn, guess I am

He didn’t call you an old fart, but you’re absolutely sure that’s what he was thinking. Another primitive who claims to be able to read minds, which I find improbable since they don’t have a mind of their own on which to practice.

If this packman nutter lives anywhere near me, I’d like to pay him a visit.

Actually, I'm willing to believe that dog-tired service workers are slacking off of the stupid and pointless face-diaper mandates, and I believe this old idiot noticed it. I doubt that this old fool SAID anything to anyone, and in any case, if the old bastard DID say something, it was probably just the latest in a series of screeds from a cranky old worthless bastard with nothing better to do.

If COVID was a serious issue, there would be a LOT more dead DUmmies. Anyone else notice that?

Jesus Christ, what a prick.

He didn't inspire a huge bonfire, but a couple of DUmmies posted almost identical stories, very long, just set in different locales.  Imagine these creatures in real life.

Yes, several times I’ve noted how I never read about any DUers falling over dead. And the world is fully aware at this point that getting vaxxed doesn’t keep one from getting C19 or from dying if the conditions are right.

This nut needs to go to the border and demand than anyone entering at all, illegally or not, need to prove they’re fully vaxxed.

How is it I never see people like the DUmmie describes? Do DUmmies have some sort of smell that attracts people like the OP describes?

Reminds me of the line from the movie "Hopscotch" referring to a character's Doberman: "He detests the smell of stupidity."

At least we know what the first name of this DUmbass is.

Chad, the male version of a Karen.

I mean, the way democrats talk about COVID, you'd think it was infecting every blade of grass, every flake of dandruff, and firing from an under-barrel attachment on Rittenhouse's gun.

Absolutely nothing better to fill the lonely days:

22. I've had a couple problems with a local grocery

Complaints the store management got no results.
I Googled the home office and wrote them a written letter, not an email.

About four weeks later I got a written response with an apology in which they stated I would be receiving a phone call from the store manager within a certain date.

I never got the phone call so I wrote the corporate office again,
after which I got an apology phone call from the local store manager.

It's the squeaky wheel that gets the results.

Squeak loudly!

23. If your state is one that requires employees to wear masks

They, like mine, may have a phone number where you can report non-compliance..

I am sure it was a sincere and heart felt apology.  ::)

IF... and that  is a huge IF this event happened at all...

That wasn't a look of resignation about having to address the employee... it was more likely frustration at having to hear the DUmmies stupid stupid shit.

After a lifetime of getting beaten down by The Man, these pathetic primitive nobodies finally getting the chance to boss somebody around--even if it's just some snot nosed kid--must give them an awesome rush of power.

And than a cop leapt out of the produce department.

You're still wearing masks?  Very few here even bother and haven't for quite a long time.  It does little but show your virtue signaling.  If you're vaccinated, why are you clinging to this mask theater?  How are you going to get infected if you believe in vaccines so dearly?

The lack of logic is rather typical of a garden variety liberal.

California Governor Gavin Newsom just extended the state of emergency in California a third time, claiming it is related to increasing COVID threats.

Newsom’s latest executive order extends until the end of March 2022, making the “emergency” effective for a total of more than two years.

As the Globe reported earlier Thursday, Gov. Gavin Newsom, back from his two weeks of “family obligations,” said on Tuesday that wearing masks will remain one of his mandated orders – “for your safety and those around you.

“Winter is coming. Winter is here,” he said at the California Forward conference in Monterey Tuesday, sounding more like a scene from the Hunger Games. “COVID is not taking the winter off.”

Using fear to extend his unlimited powers to control the little people.

Remind me again who the fascists are...

Meanwhile, in the real world, CA's new cases numbers have been flat for some 6 weeks, following a month-long decline, and daily deaths have been declining for about 8 weeks, https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/california/ . Noisome tyranny.
