Post by: Karin on October 07, 2021, 04:02:07 PM
Here's someone's pizza with whole wheat, broccoli, and mushrooms.

What, no brussell sprouts?

This DUmmie also picked up

I did wind up with 7 pounds of quinoa,

NJCher has been on a vegetarian kick lately, coming up with some really disgusting stuff:

Quote
Appetizer: sweet potato crackers with romesco dip and also Buffalo style cauliflower dip.

cereal and mackerel?

these people's diets make me nauseous.  No wonder they are always so miserable.

Eat a ****ing steak or cheeseburger.  Enjoy life.

Note to self: Never accept an invitation to dine with a DUmmy.

2. Mackerel salad with french fries

Isn't mackerel really strong and unpleasantly fishy?  What's up with this dude?

5. My wife is out of town for a few weeks

so I've been doing all the cooking. Tonight I took a can Of Bush's baked beans original flavor dumped it in the pot and went to work on it. Without measuring anything, I sliced up two pineapple sausages from Costco (these are really good) and put them in a pan with a little bacon grease and browned the slices. Dumped those in the pot with a few slices of leftover cooked bacon.

I added, mostly in small amounts, maple syrup, molasses, yellow mustard, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, brown sugar and bourbon. Simmering now. I'm tempted to dump in some crushed pineapple, but not sure yet.

What a disgusting mess.

yes.  Very fishy and oily, but makes a perfect bait when fishing for sharks because of this characteristic.

Also good for cat food.  Human food, not so much

Oh now.

NJCher is aware of the cooking & baking forum's history in the DUmpster.

Back in the good old days, it was a popular feature here.

But then as the truly great primitives either went away or died, and under dear old sweet Lucinda's "leadership," the forum became as boring as Hell, and so we ignored it.

Perhaps sorely hurt by this inattention to their forum, the cooking & baking primitives are trying to re-attract our attention, like they used to, by posting outrageous and fictitious foods and meals.

This is a plea for attention.

The problem is manifold: they try to virtue signal with their food, be it homemade and/or "organic" or "gourmet" or anything that signals their class and discernment. Then they tweak ingredients to make even that seem more exotic.

Then they forget that the one thing digital cameras suck at is taking pictures of food, so everything looks like vomit casserole. Given that most DUmmy chow actually IS vomit casserole, their pictures are extra-unsettling.
