Republican Strategy for 2022 and 2024
Forget about the betrayal of our country and the attack upon our Capitol. "Look at the terrible job Joe Biden did in Afghanistan! He should be impeached!"

They will attack relentlessly. Anything to move people away from their own incompetence and traitorous acts.

They own the media message machine. They always have. Just as Hillary Clinton had favorable polls over 60% against Donald Trump in 2016, and by the time they finished their hatchet job on her, her favorable ratings were in the 40's, even below Donald Trump. That is what they do.

No matter how disastrous and incompetent and divisive and harmful for our country, the Trump Administration was previously, Republicans are able to put their train of thought on a different track.

Attack! Attack! Tear down Joe Biden and Kamala. To a large degree, they have already accomplished much of their goal.

1. Dems have a few Afghanistan vets running for Senate

in 2022 and I’m confident they will do well making their case.

2. August was a tough month for sure

The GOP needs to keep their eye on the ball though. Staying on Afghanistan brings a disconnect from the public - it’s over so let’s move on. Their winner (from 2020 results) is crime and scary people in the dark of night. They did well everywhere with that (thanks to the media) except in Trump’s election.

5. I continue to be disappointed in Democratic messaging...

....they are more focused on governing and passing legislation.

Even as the Republicans are chopping at them with a machete.

I am quite sure the Americans and service dogs abandoned in Afghanistan are very sorry to hear that.

The most successful evacuation in all human history--you'd think they would want to take a victory lap, keep it in the news and milk it for everything it's worth, give the conquering hero Biden a good old fashioned Roman style Triumph chariot ride through the streets of Washington.

Noticing a trend.  If it looks bad for Dems, we need to put it behind us and move on.  See this, Biden's "come on man, that was four days ago", and way back to Hillary's "what difference does it make".  But if the moonbats think it looks bad for republican/conservatives, never, ever, ever let it go.  See recent memes about blaming Biden and Trump for Bush II's "endless war", Jan 6th, "the big lie", ect.

Oh, it’s not just the lousy job he did in Afghanistan, there’s more to come without a doubt. As stupid and worthless as Cap’n Dementia is, he’ll going to be a constant highlight film of incompetence.

Current new screwup is the flooding and damage in Louisiana and other coastal areas. Louisiana has an incompetent president, an incompetent governor, and New Orleans has an incompetent mayor. Those poor people don’t stand a dogs chance.

8. JMHO it won't replay like they think it will

President Biden is actually VERY good at messaging! He ignores the nonsense, which no response, is a response and as you said keeps governing...and is getting things done. This is what Americans want.
Yes, the Afghan withdrawal saw his ratings fall, but 71% of Americans wanted to see troops out of there. I believe those ratings will come back up.

Two other things sadly, male of the species and he’s not Hillary.

One final thing, the gqp are very unpopular, much more so than when Hillary was running.
Say what now? Have you actually watched or listened to just 1 of his speeches? You should try. It'll be an educational experience for you. As far as his numbers go they aren't going to get better, trust me DUmp monkey.
