Watching SOS Antony Blinken's statement tonight (re the many mistakes made with the withdrawal) ...
Was not what it should have been.
And furthermore, the coward, as does our disgrace of a CIC, walked away without taking any questions! :argh:
I cried for the 13 service members that died at that gate that were blown up helping those trying to get over the wall, and are still praying for their families that are inconsolable in their grief.
:edit: Argh!!! Yes I see that I left out the 's' in Afghanistan in the title, but can't change it myself! Rats!

With hours remaining in the United States military's two-decade presence in Afghanistan, the Pentagon really doesn't want to talk about the Americans or Afghan allies who helped our country that will be left behind.
By 3:29 p.m. eastern time on Tuesday there will be no American troops left in Afghanistan, but there will be American citizens left behind in Kabul along with Afghan citizens seeking special immigrant visas to save their families from a dangerous future under Taliban rule in a country filled with ISIS-K and Al-Qaeda terrorists.
Yet the Pentagon dodged questions again after weeks of refusing to put a specific number on the number of Americans who remain on the ground in Afghanistan.
Bragging about the "more than 122,000" individuals evacuated "including 5,400 Americans" in the airlift from Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport, Major General Hank Taylor and Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby still don't seem to know how many Americans are about to be abandoned in Afghanistan.
There are many still stranded.

You are correct, our troops will be needed to go back and get all those Americans left behind that Biden cares not in the least about!
And this time they will be fighting against an enemy armed with our own left behind American weapons!!!

There has been zero accountability from President Biden or Vice President Kalama Harris over these colossal failures. Even to the extent that Biden made the stunning claim during the presidential debate in June that he was "the only president this century" and "this decade" that did not have any troops "dying anywhere in the world."
