Supermarket Trip Yesterday - Met an Anti-Masker
Masks are reappearing at local supermarkets where I live. I've been wearing mine all along, just as an example.
So, I got in the checkout line. Ahead of me was a large man unloading his cart onto the belt. He looked at me, made an ugly expression with his face and said, "Don't be a sheep, dude."
I said, "Sheep may safely graze."
I don't think he got the allusion, though.

You are demented. Never happened.

1. Pulp magazine grade :bouncy: -fiction.
2. Get Bach! Get Bach! Get Bach home where you belong, MM!
-
"You still wake up sometimes, don’t you? Wake up in the dark and hear the screaming of the lambs."
-
I said, "Sheep may safely graze."
Not the comeback he thinks it is. "I am indeed a weak sheep who only does as I am told" is NOT something to be proud of.
-
He's not a sheep, he is an annoying *****. :thatsright: :loser:

Sheeple MM was alluding to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIUCRXMM4pE .
-
Give MM some credit. At least he included "So..." in his Bouncy.

What a pretentious asshole.

and he probably did not.

I have to wonder what it is about DUmmies that people want to get in their sh*t?
Maybe they give off an odor that just p*ssed folks off?

:rotf: Star Moron TNNurse demonstrated lack of self-reflection by snobbishly pointing out MM's (probably fictional) snobbishness. :rotf:
As the GoogTube link in one of my previous posts indicates, I "got" MM's (probably fictional) allusion, but unlike DU-Snobs, I don't think any less of people for not being familiar with some of J. S. Bach's works. I'd guess that Hitler and/or many of his chief henchmen were familiar with "Sheep May Safely Graze", so being familiar with that Bach work isn't exactly emblematic of moral and intellectual excellence.

Sheep may safely graze.
Until they are no longer productive for their owners, then they are slaughtered.

I’m out and about more than the majority of primitives combined and I never see these confrontations they talk about. You think I would have seen at least one, but no, not even one. It’s almost as if they’re lying.

Ralph's axiom:
The prevalence of Bouncy stories always coincides with their party failing miserably. They need constant reassurance that their view is correct, and as Karin said in another thread, they just NEED the "Oh how awesome, send thee to the Greatest Page" response.

Out and about here in central flyover state this weekend: A minority of customers at Walmart were wearing masks, but all employees were. Menard's , all employees wearing masks, but that has been the norm for months, but few customers wearing them.
However, a regional farm and home store: Rural King, not a mask in sight anywhere except for some on clearance sale with hand sanitizer.

My trivia gig is usually full of libs, obviously at an indoor watering hole. No one wears a mask.
Thankfully life is different here in flyover country. If you want to wear your virtue signaling mask, go for it. Just don't tread on me, especially since I've been vaccinated.

Really good observation! I certainly can’t argue with that.
