Why do we endure them?

Because they are so entrenched we can't vote them out.

The only way to clean up this mess is for 10 or 15 million Americans marching on all the capitols and burning them at the stake.

Honestly I believe that the people currently in power would do to American citizens what we should have done to the Taliban.
