They're doing it as an amendment to the tax code. I suspect that is to avoid senate filibuster via reconciliation.
Upon passage, all semiautomatic rifles that accept magazines would have to be registered within 120 days.

They need to act now before they lose the majority in the house. Dems have serious plans for America and continued freedom is NOT one of them.

D.O.A.
I can't imagine Joe Manchin going back to West Virginia after voting for this. Ditto for a few other democrat senators.

Manchin has shown himself, over and over and over again, to talk out of both sides of his mouth. He'll vote with the Repubs when the vote's in the Dem bag (meaning his crossing over still means a Dem victory), but when the going gets rough, he'll vote with his caucus. He's not to be trusted.
The only Dem senator with any kind of balls is Sinema, but there's no telling where she is on this issue. And of course we have our usual slate of RINOs - Romney, Sasse, Murkowski, Collins.

Only response that comes to mind is,
SO?
Are you planning to register the ol' Ranch Rifle when these shitbirds finally get one through? Gonna turn it in when they say you can't have it anymore? I know I won't [OpSec]...
