I am so very GD PISSED Right now - FEDEX can kiss my ass Anti-vaxers come at me bro
I get a chemo shot for my crohn's every 6 weeks.
It comes from a specialty pharmacy and they use fed ex.
for the last 3 years it has been fine-unless they came after office hours, then I had to leave a text number.
First time delivery at new place.
Fed ex didn't even bother to come inside and knock. Threw it back on the truck.
specialty pharm called a currier service.
currier service calls me at work to ask when I will be home.
Uh hello, I am teaching and it is the first week=
give them hubbys cell
Take off work to be home a specific time.
Get home-hubby had talked to them set up delivery between 3 and 6
at 6 I call=still waiting to get shot off truck will be 6-8
at 8 call oh the truck doesn't get back to warehouse till 8. Be between 8 and 9
9 call-still waiting on truck. Be there by 10
call at 10 fed ex guy refuses to release to currier.
Currier service sets up for me to get shot next day ( today) after work. Promised it would be refrigerated.
go to warehouse dumbass kids tell me it was delivered to neighbor this morning-WTF NOT what I was told just as I was pulling up into the parking lot.
I start making phone calls visibly upset kid goes back behind door.
comes out with my shot
Looky there. It was there.
but NOT refrigerated and their non caring attitude. LIke it is no big deal
(its only an 8 grand $$$ shot that keeps me out of hospital)
Had to get gas on way home.
Saw someone pitching a fit about the hoax covid.
I WENT off.
dude just looked like I'd punched him in the nads.
GOOD DAMN I am so f'n tired of stupidity.

1. You're too stupid to be allowed to teach. You're lucky I'm on my phone, or else I'd red line all of your mistakes.
2. Fukien lung fungus has nothing to do with this. You just want to look tough. Calling out people from inside DU is not tough.
3. I doubt you confronted anyone, but I'd oblige you.
4. Remember this the sort of workers you are championing every time you call for a $15 minimum wage.

I can see the problem Pam is having. She's expecting to get her drugs from someone who makes Indian food instead of someone who's expertise is dealing with transportation of packages.
EDIT: A Currier is someone who stretches and finishes tanned leather so it can be used to make stuff. Still not the correct person to see about getting a package delivered however.

She is so angry she's practically crapping herself.

Uh, question.
"First time delivery at new place."
Did Pamela have to downsize again?
Remember, she started off on Skins' island living in a spacious two-story house with a large finished basement where a pal of her husband's lived rent-free for several years.
Then they had to give that up and move to a condominium in a bad part of downtown.
Now she's moved again, this time to an apartment over somebody's garage?

1. Pam is playing a disingenuous word game. Among the multiple meds used to treat Crohn's is Prednisone. Prednisone can be used as a chemotherapy agent - I knew this years before the Internet came around. But with Crohn's, it and other corticosteroids are used to reduce inflammation (much as corticosteroids are used with Covid to reduce inflammation, BTW).

She might be getting Humira or one of the other outrageously expensive drugs for Crohn's. However, there is so much wrong with her bouncy, that it get's no bongs.

You shouldn't have drugs delivered by a painter.

Especially one that died in 1888. He probably still votes Democrat to this day though.

Hell, I'd wager Ulysses S. Grant himself has been a die-hard Dim'Rat voter for decades now...

Not the first time and not likely the last.

Using fictional and half-truth :bouncies: for DUmp-cred is like a DUmp ritual. OTOH, I like being able to call out their implausible tale elements, or, as in this case, Pam's disingenuous misrepresentation of an anti-inflammatory usage as chemotherapy usage.

Unpacking, giving probable background, and (hopefully) abbreviating Pam's Fedex :bouncy: :
* Pam's health plan - part of her job for which she hasn't shown up for well over a year - requires that her long-term and ongoing pharmaceuticals purchases be handled by the insurance company's in-house "pharmacy"-by-mail;
* Fedex is having problems with staff retention, recruiting, and training;
* The local Fedex facility mishandled her monthly (or whatever time period set by the health plan) shipment;
* Pam teed off on the quarter- and half-trained Fedex loading area people who probably were not of the shift that misplaced her package;
* Going home, Pam got gas and teed off on a rando-dude who is POed with gooberment's Panic-Porn-F'ing with the nation;
* Pam lyingly misconstrued rando-dude's What's-YOUR-Problem-Lady look as looking like I'd punched him in the nads. Unsurprisingly. Like she has the capability of doing that, literally or or verbally, :rotf: ;
* Pam proved, by teeing off on rando-dude, that her professed fear of catching Covid from every unmasked rando is a sham-for-DUmp-Cred, :rotf: . Unsurprisingly.
