Last week Joe Biden was considered to be Gavin Newsom's secret weapon in his recall election. However, since then the Afghanistan debacle happened. So how does Newsom now suggest to Biden that he doesn't need to campaign for him in California since Sleepy Joe is now toxic? However, as you can see in these clips the defensively angry attitudes of Newsom and Biden do seem to mesh.
The good news for Newsom is even if he is thrown out of the governor's office in the recall, there could be a Secretary of Defense job available to him.
