A Return to My Weekend Supermarket Reports
Once vaccinations began to be given to the mass of people who wanted them, I stopped doing my weekend supermarket mask reports. Now, I find it necessary to begin again. In the meantime, I have moved from my home in St. Paul to a suburb on the west side of the Twin Cities metro.
So, today, I shopped at Lunds/Byerly's, since there is one near my home. There is a Cub here, a Trader Joes, and a Whole Foods, as well, along with an Aldi's. All within a five-minute drive from our new digs.
When I arrived at the store, I donned my mask, as I have done for so long. The difference now, though, is that the only other masks I saw were on the employees in the store. Sadly, I saw no other customers wearing masks today.
I fear we have lost the battle. I'm fully vaccinated. Probably many others I saw today are, as well. However, the pandemic rages on, so I'm still masking up. I wish others would do so, as well.
Yesterday, when we took delivery of our new car, my wife and I wore masks. Nobody else in the dealership wore a mask, though. Our salesperson volunteered that he was vaccinated, at least.
I got a strong stink-eye from one customer at the supermarket. He looked like he was about to offer some "sheeple" comment, but thought better of it after locking eyes with me. I do not radiate a peaceful attitude from my eyes about such nonsense.
MM is running through that inheritance faster than a crack whore with a welfare check.
Evidently he’s quite the bad ass too! DON’T LOOK HIM IN THE EYE!!

A Return to My Weekend Supermarket Karen Reports
I'm fully vaccinated
So what the **** are you afraid of?

Still baffled at why these perpetual Karen's are so freaking worried. If one is vaccinated, who the hell cares if you encounter a non-vaxxer? If a vaccinated individual catches it, the result is essentially a normal flu and non lethal.

What the actual ****?
Is this what we've come to? DUers aren't satisfied with shouting opponents down, so now they have to shout them down in their minds too? What is their fascination with silencing others? Is it gratifying to them? Do they not feel worthy enough if they don't have the last word in an argument (real or imaginary)?

If you mess with Rock Head, he will buy the houses on either side of your house and then rent them out to meth dealers.

There must be something morally wrong with me. When masking was optional I wore no mask, but was never inclined to give a hostile look to anyone wearing a mask. Not did I see/hear any unmasked person hassling or giving the stink-eye to a masked person.
My guess is that the "stink-eye" in MM's :bouncy: was in MM's hyper-sensitive imagination.

17. Indoor mask mandate here as of Friday so at Costco
folks were largely masked this morning. I say largely because one lady at the checkout was having words with the front end manager about some customer that was walking around unmasked. She was pissed.

Liberals are the most intolerant people on the planet, despite constantly lecturing us "rubes" about tolerance.

I would put on my mask to hide my face then backhand him casually then return to whatever I was doing.
He is a *****.

6. I keep the retort in mind that I read here the other day:
"It's not a mask.
It's an I.Q. test."
And you failed.

Last I checked, IQ tests weren't pass/fail, but most DUmbasses do come back negative. :fuelfire:
