Post by: Ferrance on August 14, 2021, 08:02:34 AM: 6 of the 9 are in purple districts so the dems can't afford to put up a rabid lefty in the general or they'll lose. The interesting one to me is Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). He's part of another group of dems who want the SALT cap from the 2017 tax bill repealed.

In this day and age, there is no such thing as a "moderate" Democrat. They are all suspect of being full-blown leftists.

'Moderate Dim'Rat' carries much of the same connotation - and mental gymnastics - as the term moderate muslim, as currently used.
