Thinking and praying for your folks, Mia. :( Read the Saturday thread.
Saturday was a real drag for me for some reason. Just not a good day and I felt like I was dragging. On the plus side the other half went to the Ohio State game and the seats were extraordinary. I'll post a video later..they were just shy of the 50 yard line, about 3 rows up and behind the Youngstown bench. Unreal! I'm hoping he gets tickets for me and our daughter so I can take her to her first Buckeyes game since she was a baby!
Got a pic of Pryor's first snap ever for the Buckeyes!!! A good one!
I have more energy today and already walked 4 miles this am and am heading for a step class at 10.
TOTD: What are your pet causes that you either volunteer for or contribute donations too regularly?
For example, asdf helps the red cross and volunteers his time.
I donate my time to special olympics and causes related to autism(I'm walking in October, if you want to sponsor me, let me know and I'll send you the link). I've also got a heart for 'forgotten' teenage girls, but don't know yet how to contribute in some meaningful way, probably because many of these girls get lost in the shadows anyway and even in their own homes people don't know they are neglected.
Oh and anything non moonbat related to water mammals. I'm a manatee and dolphin fan.
So what are they folks?

TOTD: Working on a couple of political campaigns here, volunteer a little bit (very little, I'm afraid) with VFW/AmLeg causes for the troops.
As soon as I shower, heading downstairs to make eggs with biscuits and gravy for breakfast. As for the rest of the day? As little as possible.

mmmm..that sounds good, Sparky. I have to wait for a big meal or I'll get the worst case of reflux when I work out and will feel sluggish.
Veterans and those currently serving. One I'd like to get more involved with for sure! This is precisely one of the reasons I wanted to see what was important to people. Not only is it interesting to see those things that are in the hearts of others, but it certainly gives one ideas as to areas they may have overlooked, but have a heart for as well. Kudos to you, Sparky and good morning and good luck with the lazy, hazy day of summer---one of the last befre the cold stuff rolls in in a few weeks.

I do mine a bit differently, since I add my own (spicy) sausage to the mix. Also, baching it, I've found the frozen Grands biscuits (20 to a bag) are awesome--just take out what you need, no need to make a whole package of them.
Cold stuff...don't remind me. Just got the oil burner checked over.
