My brother died this Saturday morning from Covid.
a) avid Trump supporter
b) refused to be vax'd, and proud of it
c) took 3 weeks from the time he was infected.
d) lived in Georgia, died in a Florida hospital
e) refused to get health insurance
f) refused to vote for universal health insurance issues because the immigrants would get free health care
Do any or all of these points fit a pattern? *sarcasm*
:whatever:
I'm betting they weren't on speaking terms...

11. My brother has a, b, and f covered with a probable on c.
Not likely for d and e only happened through the VA. He has never used his employer provided health insurance and goes to the VA instead even though he has to drive 100 miles to get there.
My condolences on the loss of your brother.

12. First of all, I am sorry for your loss. He made those choices, but he was victimized and ...
... taken advantage of, too.

My sister won’t get vaccinated for a million other reasons and I worry so much. She refuses to take any precautions except she wears a mask. I know if my parents were alive she might listen to them....there is no way she will listen to me. It is hard.

25. So sorry RicROC. It sounds like your bother was already "lost" to FOX, etc, before you lost him.
Right wing media is such a scourge on our society...and it is actively promoting a mindset that makes people estranged from other family members ...AND can kill them.
Awful.

39. I am sorry for what you, your family, and all who loved him must be going through.
What a tragedy it is that he allowed himself to be indoctrinated and that he chose this hill to die on. It is a sad and hard thing to lose someone you love. I can only hope that a small consolation can come out of this, in that someone in his circle who was holding out will learn from this and seek vaccination.

40. It's like you lost him twice. So very sad.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences, RicROC. It's tough.

Don't ever ask me to see any of these things as people.

Primitive looking for cred bouncy. The “brother” checks too many of the boxes the left want to attach to others.
The “pattern” is that lefties are liars.

Yeah... At least throw-in a * liked Disney-films or * supported the UN box here 'n there, so the 'bounce' isn't so obvious.

Since we're generalizing from a sample of one, I am:
A. I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 (not simply against HilLIARy and LIEden)
B. I received my second Pfizer dose in late May, delaying being vaccinated because I got Covid in January, when Newsom, in his goobernatorial wisdom, would not let ordinary people my age receive a vaccine.
C. I spent 13 days in the hospital but am still here to PO DUmmies with facts they don't want to hear and with suitable mockery.
D. I'm one of the ~1/3 of Californians who voted for Trump in 2016 and in 2020.
E. I have a health plan through my employer.
F. I would vote against ANY proposed government-run "healthcare". Because it will be far inferior to private health insurance.
Looks like this Trump voter doesn't really fit Star Moron RicROC stereotype-"pattern".
Of course, Star Moron RicROC's "brother" is probably fictional, created from stereotypes to compose this :bouncy: .

A primitive who is in favor of voter ID and purging voter rolls.

In the years since I've been participating in Internet discussion sites I've lost both of my parents, my MIL, and a cousin who was also my next door neighbor when we were growing up (I have no siblings). For some weird reason, I've never had the impulse to rush to a discussion site to denigrate their politics.
Similarly weird, I've never made up a phony Prog cousin out of stupid stereotypes, "killed" them, and used their fake "death" in a :bouncy: to get cred on a news/politics site. I'm obviously one sick puppy!

You're not sick. You're normal. You don't put your politics above everything and use tragedies in your life, both real and fake, to go after those you hate. You know like every DUmbass is famous for.

This is a common affliction amongst people with a brain. Once they figure out you are a mouthy Lefty who can only speak talking points you are fed...you are locked out. There is no way you will be listened to, or invited into an intelligent conversation.

Self-awareness is lacking in this one. "I've cut off my ______________," has become DU's annual Thanksgiving and Christmas ritual.

a graveyard cook at Waffle House,
Wow, living the dream....

Given the post dates on Edward's FB page, Waffle House may have lost a cook. His most recent post was June 8th.
Optometrist brother Thomas, the relevant DU-member, most recently posted in mid July, but nothing about his brother being sick.
If Edward did indeed die, he and his brother may have estranged, hence the lack of mention noted above. If Edward did die, his family has my sympathies.
As for DU-member Thomas ... since starting to post on news politics discussion sites I lost my father, my MIL, and a cousin with whom I had been somewhat close. If I mentioned any of their deaths, their politics weren't, nor was I asked. IMO, it evidences the ugliness of DU-member Thomas' character that his first impulse was to politicize his brother's death.

It's just disgusting the way people are dehumanizing others online. It's nothing new, but the internet makes it easy for people to pile on, feel like they are part of a cool crowd, and as one popular post says, get too comfortable talking smack without getting punched in the mouth for it. Twitter and reddit are full of posts about ebil RWNJ suffering and dying from the kung-flu, and the comments are always disgusting. Basement ghouls dancing on graves of people with different opinions. Throw on top of that the debate about how many of those suffering conservatives actually exist or are just attempts to get DU cred or reddit karma or likes.
Human nature is vile, broken, selfish and sinful. How these moonbats read their own words and deny that is cognitive dissonance at it's finest.
