Yes and no, IMHO.

One analysis I read opines that the Dems are waiting for 30 September when a budget (and a new debt ceiling, though I understand that the debt ceiling has already been reached) have to be passed. This will result in a "MUST PASS" huge reconciliation bill for the BS "infrastructure" legislation that McConnell, in his zeal to kiss Chuck the Schmuck's ass, is drooling over.

When all of that comes to a head at the end of September, and in order to stave off yet another government shutdown, the Dems will ONCE AGAIN paint the Repubs into the proverbial corner.

To quote Pelousy:

"We'll have to pass the bill to see what's in it."
