Help. My neighbor I look after just came to me, "I've been exposed to Covid, can you ...
... take me to the hospital for a test."
He's been vaxxed.
Do I do it?
This is not a test.
The vaccinated neighbor was EXPOSED, and wants a TEST. Didn't test positive. Isn't showing symptoms. Was just near someone who had the virus. However, almost all 42 responses are over-the-top. Like this one:

Call 911, say someone is threatening you with biological weapons. Cops will show up, take the neighbor away (or shoot them, depending on the melanin content of their skin), and you won't have to worry your empty little head.

Chapter 2, more drama:
I went and bought the test. I did the swabbing. He tested positive. I drove him to the hospital. On the ride, he told me he hasn't gotten vaxxed yet. They took him in and told me I had to leave the hospital.
I jumped into the shower taking off my clothes and putting them into the washer.
I will get a covid test. I will loathe 45 with my last breath.
About my neighbor: he has Huntington's. He has no visitors. He got a call from the local bus service: he was exposed to a confirmed Covid case on the bus last week. He was going to the gym.
My wife is none too pleased. I tried to explain, I tried to do what I know someone would do for me. I try to live as a christian.
As for the bolded part above, if the neighbor has the Delta variant, shouldn't this DUclown loathe 46,because he's the one who didn't keep it out of the country?

That thread is a funny read. All the "Call an ambulance!!!!" people have no idea what that would cost, and what penalty the frivolous use fee would be. And then they all start squabbling and shrieking at each other, sure that they alone know the truth.

You now need to protect your wife. If you can, for the next 2 weeks move into a separate room - preferably with an air purifier that captures particles down to .3 microns and filters the size room you're in several times an hour. Get yourself tested at least twice - one perhaps 3-4 days out, one about a week out. Have her leave food at your door. Double-mask when you leave your rooom. Run the ventilation fan in the bathroom for an hour or so after you use it - if you've showered (i.e. taken off your mask) run the air purifier in the bathroom for at least an hour.
And they WILL NOT part from the idea that this isn't an instant death sentence.

Remember when Ebola was present in Dallas a few years back, and they were pissed off that we wanted to shut the borders to African countries and such? EBOLA is something to fear. Covid, not so much, yet they treat it like it's anthrax riding on an ebola horse. I guess it's because most DUmmies are at least 70 years old, but geez, why so terrified of a bad cold?

Meh, I don't know why the DUmbass is worried about a fictional neighbor infected with covid when the story is a total fabrication to gain street cred with the other mouth breathers in the insane asylum that is DU.

Being exposed to the Wuhan is not the same with contracting it. It's been pissing me off that the idiotic media browbeats us with total cases while ignoring the actual deaths or hospitalizations. Unless they took place in a red state.
I've been exposed several dozen times, and was tested on thrice and didn't have it. Including by being exposed by my wonderful 70ish year old Mother, a couple of trivia patrons who gave me a ride home after the show in the summer of 2020. Been fully vaccinated since April, and I'm not going through this mask patronizing anymore, not virtue signaling by wearing the proverbial AIDS ribbon. Noticed that there has been virtually ZERO science to prove that masks actually prevent the virus. Funny how Lord Fauci has never authored a documented study with evidence on that.
