Title: Hey Y’all!

I joined this forum almost a month ago and thought I would introduce myself. I was a member of CU from about 2004, under a different handle. I wasn’t a prolific poster but I read the boards almost daily for many years. Like most of you, daily life seems to allow me less leisure time to spend on message boards. But when time allows it’s nice to have place to check in with likeminded folks, and of course laugh at the DUmmies.

My name is Chris. I’m a Army wife and mother and a conservative libertarian. As my screen name suggests I love Rush and miss him terribly, but I’m thankful we had him for as long as we did. I am a Trump supporter and will absolutely vote for him if he runs in 2024. I pray our Republicans are successful in limiting the damage the Democrats are attempting to inflict on our country and society.

Outside of my political interests, I love to read, cook, and workout. I have 4 kids, 1 grandson, and 2 dogs. I’m originally from Louisiana, but I grew up in Georgia, and I now reside in Alabama.

Anyway, I’m happy to be here and look forward to engaging with y’all from time to time.

Remains to be seen about DJT and 2024, of course, but if he ran again, he'd be hard to beat. I'm thinkin' he won't run, preferring to be CEO of the GOP (since they don't have one) and to be a thorn in the side of the FNN and the Dems.

DeSantis is looking pretty strong.....

I hope he runs. And even now he IS a thorn in the side of the Dems. It’s one of my favorite things about him.

I really like DeSantis too.

FNN = Faux News Network, which encompasses pretty much all of the legacy media, not just CNN.
