During the 90s it was argued that gay permissiveness would inevitably lead to recruiting children. The Left lied and it wasn't possible because homosexuality was supposed to be a naturally occurring trait, they insisted.

Five minutes of studying anthropology would disprove that, but they still insisted.

They lied.

Remember, it wasn't until May, 2012 that obama suddenly announced he was for gay-marriage.

Most the GOP didn't give a rat's ass about it, starting in about 1990 or so.  You wanna get married?  Knock yourself out.  Try getting a gay-divorce back then.  You had to travel to Massachusetts...  America was utterly reliant on Sweden and Israel for gay stats.  It's not as if the American-left had any enlightened info about behavioral-anything.
