Title: VIDEO: Facebook "Fact-Checker" Alan Duke Suffers Horrible Meltdown
Post by: pjcomix on July 06, 2021, 01:29:03 PM
Quote
Alan Duke, the "fact-checker" for Facebook, appeared on the War Room on July 6 and it did not go well for him at all. At first Duke seemed somewhat rational but after being confronted by Raheem Kassam of the "National Pulse" and Jack Posobiec, he quickly devolved into a stumbling, sputtering hot mess of an epic meltdown as you can see.

Based on recent experience, FB doesn't have fact-checkers - actual people - up front. They have a moronic algorithm that looks for buzzwords and if one uses the super-wrong ones or enough ordinary wrong ones the algorithm hides the post and notifies the user, whose ability to respond is limited to agreeing with the hide or disagreeing. That a hidden post is no-tricks 100% accurate does not matter to Mr. Al Gorithm.

I disagreed with a hide and posted about it publicly, without word-mincing. Haven't heard back from Menlo Park (California, not New Jersey), and I'm still able to post.

Some gold medal level mental gymnastics there.

So he alleges Posobiec fabricated the quote when, at worst, he cited the right quote from the wrong debate?  :lmao:

"Well, I don't know Orwell."  ::)

The algorithm doesn't appreciate the art of sarcasm either
