Tie the Republican party to autocracy.
Matthew Dowd is a smart cookie, he was on Nicolle yesterday and made this crucial point. We need to stop only blaming the militias and MF45 for the insurrection.
We need to tie the entire Republican party, minus Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger to the insurrection, to autocracy, to being anti-Constitution, anti-democracy, anti-law enforcement.
He stated that the Republican party is carrying on the insurrection, it didn't end on 1/6. The Republican party is stoking The Big Lie, is passing anti-democratic election laws, is obstructing any investigation into the 1/6 insurrection.
The only way to beat back this threat against our democracy is to beat Republicans soundly in the next election and the next election and the next election. The Republican party is an autocratic anti-democratic, anti-Constitutional, anti-American party. The word bipartisan gives me chills. Only 2 Republicans should be considered on the House select committee, 2, that is it, and then televise every damn hearing.
Matthew Dowd gets it, we need to follow his example.

2. Time to call a spade a spade. GQP is the American Facist Party...
GQP = AFP

I'm sorry, but any accusation from the democrats of being anti-law enforcement just rings hollow. Ditto any accusation of being anti-Constitution from the party of "The Constitution is an anachronism/No Amendment is Absolute."

Matthew Dowd is such a smart cookie that he didn't realize that his statement intrinsically means he advised Dems to lie. Unsurprisingly.

3. as others have already noted, we are dancing are the truth with "white supremacist"...
christian nationalist, conservative, reactionary...just tell it like it is. The GOP has evolved into a more and more extremist party. It started with Reagan and has continued. We elected a black President and the right went batshit. The fundie evangelical right has risen in power in the GOP and on the right. The Pig finished the transformation.
A majority of the right in this country have become a modern day American fascists with a fundamentalist christian extremism on the side. Christofascism.
Ultra-nationalist Like the Chinese?
Militaristic and Militant Anfita anyone?
Fear Mongering Paging Dr. Fauci
Scapegoating Let's blame Trump for all the world's ills
Racist Get back to me when you denounce BLM/CRT
Misogynistic I guess bashing Republican women is ok
Selective Populist Only what we like is populist
Propagandist See the MSM and 90% of print media
Corporatist Woka-Cola, Nike, Big Tech, they're just fine

They say "tie the Republican Party to autocracy", as if it's not something they already do constantly, and have been doing for years.
-
Every time they bring up the protests of 1/6 where the only death was an unarmed veteran shot by a capitol cop, we bring up the months of burnlootmurder-led riots, many against federal facilities with many cops and innocents killed.
It is starting to work. It certainly silences them on social media.

"Hello, sir. I know you're just trying to leave this Kroger store, but can I talk to you for a moment about the relationship of the Republican Party to autocracy? I believe I can make a compelling case that Republicans are autocrats, which should shock and terrify you enough to vote Democrat in the next municipal water commissioner election."
"Hey, kids of TikTok. Did you know that the Republican Party has ideological ties to autocracy? Think about that while you're watching videos of housewives lip-syncing to country songs."
"Honk if you associate the Republican Party to autocratic motives and activities!"

If Ralph Waldo Emerson were alive today, he might say "Democrats do not seem to realize that their opinion of republicans is also a confession of character."
The more I think about this, the more I think this is another case of leftists revealing something about themselves, perhaps without realizing it.
They need to 'tie republicans to autocracy', because 1) republicans in fact are not autocrats, and 2) democrats do lean towards centrality and authority if not outright autocracy.

As has been said many, many times, they always accuse those of what they actually do/believe.

You gotta be kidding.
The Republicans the party of the aristocracy?
The Republicans?
I wasn't aware that the overpaid desk-sitting broad-bottomed governmental bureaucrats tended to be Republicans.
These people enjoy a better standard of living, better and more benefits, and stronger job security than those in the private sector paying for all this, things they don't get.
These bloated pigs are the modern-day aristocrats, and one fervently hopes for the re-election of President Trump so as to give him more time to drive them out.

Let’s see, the left wants to:
Add 4+ judges to the USSC
Do away with the EC
Add 2 new (Democrat) states
End the filibuster
And more….
All acts of those who are power hungry.
But the R’s are the fascists. :mental:
Has anyone reminded these libs that more money from Wall Street goes to D’s than R’s? Government sharing power with corporations equal fascism; that’s what they’ve told us for years.

Tie the Republican party to autocracy.
So says the party of word and book burning, banning absolutely everything they don't demand be mandatory.
