Mouse plague in australia
https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-australia-57225103

After they murdered so many of thier Cat population,
They get mice galore. and Bast's revenge.

As it happened in the middle ages, after all the crazy christians back then murdered tons of black and other Cats they got a mouse plague and black death.

The Egyptians knew Cats should not be murdered. If you killed a cat in ancient Egypt you would be killed.
Because mouse plagues.
And Cats are sacred too.

I hope the Farmers in Australia recover and they stop poisoning millions of Cats.

Because, you know, it's a cat...

6. If there was a problem with cats instead of killing them all

they should have done ( should do ) capture spay/neuter and release. cat over population fixed and rodent problem fixed. From programs I have been watching our country is learning how to do that. You would think that people would look at history and see the mass killing of cats has done more harm than good. Then again, the mass killing of any creature is more harmful than good. every type of animal has a purpose.

9. The cats don't belong there. They're driving native wildlife to extinction.

Perhaps they should try a more humane approach, but they don't belong there.

11. Australia has a crapload

Of invasive species.

You can't kill them to return to the days before humans came to Australia.

Eventually they will have to realize things change and it's part of evolution now, these changes.

Yeah people contributed to the changes. The changes could have happened another way too.

With different species.

No place remains untouched forever.

::) Cats and rats (no ellyphants) are, to the Australian continent, both invasive species. While cats prey on rats, they are not selective predators. The result of both has been the displacement and diminution of native species. It's more complex than that - I'll let Ptarmy explain. Even DUmmies explained that reality to UGP, though her contacts with reality are infrequent and unsubstantial.

Didn't the subway cat, when she was living rent-free in her mother's deluxe luxury duplex, own a boa constrictor or two that she didn't always keep in their cage?

That, and the ghastly-looking people who dropped in to visit and even live, compelled her aged mother to flee the duplex and to seek refuge with one of her other daughters.  When her mother and sisters sold the duplex and jammed the subway cat into a halfway house, despite the subway cat's whining, it was justified and long overdue.

The subway cat's also had cats and kittens, one or the other which mysteriously disappeared about the same time the boa constrictor(s) developed a pot belly.

When the subway cat was taken away, the boa constrictor(s) and surviving felines were given to the veterinary to be put down.

This is all true, because the subway cat herself at various times confessed to it.  If she denies it then, she's lying.
