Since Pfizer's vaccine is now approved for youths 12 and up and Moderna's probably will be soon, those school boards soon are going to face a choice between staying stupid and a parental/voter revolt.

I tend to think they'll stay stupid regardless.  :-)

I expect that educrats, like generic bureaucrats, will see the light when they feel the heat.

We haven't gotten word yet about masks for next year in my district, but I really hope they are dropped.  It is difficult to hear the students, both when they are interacting with the teacher and when they are interacting with each other, and difficult for students to hear the teacher when we are talking, either giving instruction or anything else.

Schools in the U.S. should continue to use masks, C.D.C. advises. I'm thinking they did this under pressure from the teacher's unions. :)
