Diamondbacks have a mere 3-game lead in the NL West and tonight we play our foes, the Los Angeles Dodgers in what will be a pivotal 3-game series for the division lead. If we win the series, we gain a 6-game cushion over the Dodgers in the division. If the Dodgers win the series, we will be tied in the division and I'm going to have to seek therapy immediately. :-)
Let the games begin!!

Think positive thoughts. The DBacks will win at least 2 of 3 and gain a game on the Dodgers.

9-3,
D'Bags D'Backs.

9-3, D'Bags D'Backs.
Hey!
Up 4 1/2 games now in the division.
I can't watch the games because I don't have cable (all D-backs games are carried on Fox Sports AZ). So I listen to the radio. The commentators were saying that the Dodgers looked tired and overwhelmingly defeated last night. I wondered if it was just a fluke or if they have given up. Losing 9 straight games would certainly nick the morale of the team, but are they out of it for good?

Look, my team was up 7 with 17 to play last year. Neither the Dodgers nor the Yankees are out of the post-season.

casey blake just accomplished the seemingly insurmountable task of hitting it out of chase field to center field.
