I wonder if the cop who shot Daunte Wright was in some way
Impaired. Lack of sleep, under the influence of alcohol, drugs, hung over?
Not that any of that would excuse what happened of course.

2. Probably just the suspect diving in vehicle
After he broke away from attempt to put handcuffs on him, how could she know he was not attempting to get a weapon?
Really stupid thing she did but what would have happened if the young man would have simply let the officer cuff him?
Hmmm he would be alive.
I know not popular with all the "all cops murder crowd" but ehh

3. There's absolutely no way to say he'd still be alive if handcuffed
In fact the evidence tends to trend the other way - once in handcuffs by the police, black men die

11. You realize the Chauvin trial is happening 10 miles away from Daunte's murder right?
Black men die in police custody all the time.
The problem is thinking this isn't happening. Jfc, why do you think there's an entire civil uprising called Black Lives Matter? It's because black folks are being murdered by the police, especially once they're handcuffed

9. you're missing your sarcasm tag I hope
not sure what you are going for with such a blatantly incorrect statement.
2.6 million black arrests in 2019, I assume the overwhelming majority were handcuffed. I know the media isn't the best at reporting on police misconduct, but if you're statement was remotely true I think we would have noticed that many bodies...

20. You don't seem to be aware of the facts in this case.
The officer immediately acknowledged that she didn't intend to shoot him. She meant to use her taser and somehow accidentally used her gun. How does that happen? I don't know but it does raise a lot of questions.

22. Except, cops are trained to use their gun if they fear a weapon
They don't reach for a taser to tase someone who they think is getting a gun. So that excuse is 100% bullshit.

"Hmmm he would be alive."
Nice right wing talking point.
****ing ridiculous argument. Blaming the victim. Should self delete.

30. The arrest warrant was for having a gun.
She had every reason to think he still had it. I think she panicked.

8. From what I understand, she was training another officer,
and pulled this young man over to "demonstrate" a traffic stop. She was impaired alright, but I'm guessing it was her ego that impaired her.

34. an exceptionally mickey mouse one
He was originally pulled over for having an item (air freshener) on his mirror (which is apparently not legal in MN). It would have to climb several levels to be merely mickey mouse.
He was pulled over for out of date license tags. The Left believe the bullshit they put out- no matter what the facts show. They ran his license and a warrant came up for his arrest- apparently more than one- I'm hearing about an armed robbery charge on top of the failure to appear and flight to avoid. Will the left listen to the truth?

23. There was a whole lot wrong in that failed arrest
1) Why did they attempt to cuff him right next to the door rather than at the back of the vehicle?
2) Why didn't anyone close the damn car door?
3) Was the car still on? I mean, he actually did manage to drive away, even after having been shot! How did he get the car moving?
I'm not saying any of this was intentional, but good God this was as sloppy an arrest as I think I've ever seen. If they were attempting the cuff the guy right next to his open car door in a running car, the whole lot of them should be shitcanned for gross negligence.
Even cop friendly posters have to admit that this was bungled in some of the most jaw-dropping ways imaginable.

Once again we have DUmbasses playing Monday morning quarterback about a subject they're totally clueless about. In other words standard SOP for these clueless wastes of skin.

When they concoct these lurid fantasies about arrestees being killed in custody just remember that they are trying to justify what they want to do to us once they have whipped up their collective courage to act.

I can see how it could happen. I remember one year I was making Christmas cookies, and I reached for my rolling pin, grabbed my AR15 by mistake, and blew the hell out of my gingerbread men.
