Because they no longer have Trump to plot against, they may as well go for making bank.

I adamantly believe Gaetz is innocent because he's adamant about his innocence. That's the good enough for me.
It's obviously a slime-play to distract from Cuomo and the border-atrocities. Not gonna work. Not a chance.

I'm not a fan of the "he's our guy, he must be innocent" mentality.
That said, I'm not seeing anything in the allegations worse than being single and able to pull tail. Gaetz said he did. My only question then becomes, "Does she have a friend?"
What strikes me as exonerating is his willingness to go to the authorities and the fact the operatives chose blackmail over criminal referral.

How often does someone claim extortion and actually give a NAME of the person doing the extorting.

Yeah, I was shocked when he gave McGee's name during Tucker's interview. Tucker isn't usually flummoxed, but he definitely was during this interview.
While giving out McGee's name isn't an automatic badge of innocence, it definitely goes a long way. Furthermore, going to the feds with this issue did a couple things -- elevated the problem to the entity that's supposed to investigate and provides cover if/when the shit blows up. Which evidently it did.
If Gaetz is on the up and up, one more indicator of a federal agency that is irretrievably brokedick.
