2. I always figure republicon women have very low self esteem
They do what they are told and never have any say in the family.
Kind of sad actually.

Like the perks of chivalry. Lets face it being liberated and equal is a lot of work. Some just can't hack it.

8. I've met a few.
I think it's because of fundy churches and their mates.
I remember back in '04 a woman working at a store told me she liked Kerry and wanted to vote for him, but couldn't unless her church said okay.
I was actually shocked. What's worse, she wasn't alone.
I think the fundy churches this time around does not have the hold on either men or women as it did in '04.
:whatever:
Let the hatred and bile begin.

Let me tell ya, this woman has been happily married for 20 years, has 5 children, and is an accomplished governor of a growing state. She's more qualified to run the country than McCain, Obamassiah, and bin Biden combined.
.

seriously, they are all just pissed that we made history as well today. The GOP has never had a woman on the ticket - and that trumps their black man child by a long shot. They've already had Jesse and Al and some kooky black woman try for the presidency .. so that's not really a big deal.
they cant wipe the smile off my face today... too bad suckers! :lmao:

yup, the only one with executive experience on either ticket. how is Biden going to denigrate that? I know he will try, but he usually winds up making personal attacks rather than actually staying focused.
i thought the VP issue was going to be a snooze.. but I cant wait for the VP debates now.. !

Me too! I finally got to experience that tingle thing up my leg! Sucks to be a failed messiah-worshipper today.

honestly, i am just so suprised at McCain - he did really, really good! I feel very, very excited about this campaigne again... I had pretty much lost interest until this morning even though I was going to vote for McCain. :cheersmate:

As a Republican woman I can tell you...RESPECT. Republicans don't make token gestures to women...Condoleezza Rice...arguably the most powerful woman in the world...appointed because she was the best PERSON for the job and a PERSON he respected, NOT a token minority (twice) in a skirt. Sarah Palin (I'm actually beginning to think McCain has a brain), the best PERSON to be on his ticket. I don't want to be pandered to and I don't want to be pampered (well, in case my husband reads this forget the "don't want to be pampered" part). And here's the most important part: I don't have to pretend to be "lesbian-lite" to be respected...whether in a skirt and high heels or blue jeans and cowboy boots...I'm honored for who I am and what I do NOT just because I have the same plumbing as Belladonna and have a chip on my shoulder because of said plumbing. Besides, I work hard to have legs that look fairly decent in a skirt and I want to be appreciated for that too. Suck on that, DUmmies.

Why would any thinking woman vote for a party that stands on the platforms of abortion-on-demand, (now) no right-to-life for infants, "gay" marriage, support the plantation with more money and "free" healthcare, "ed-u-ma-ca-tion" or whatever the Democratic NEA calls the hours they spend brainwashing kids and demonstrating condoms, disarm every law-abiding citizen, and "shut-up, fundy?" :banghead:

I predicted this reply earlier today, Reb. I said they'll be assuming that she's the proverbial doormat wife(along with any other conservative/republican female). :lmao:
