How do you post YouTube videos here? The BB code [youtube]video link[/youtube] doesn't appear to work.

It used to be possible to have an image of the youtube video as the link, but we had problems with disruptors, and had to eliminate that option years ago, after which there haven't been problems.
I've never done gifs, but I assume the same is true.
So feel free to post videos.

Normally, stuff like this is corrected by the owner or administrator of a site.
In this case, the owner of this site is a single father with a houseful of adolescent kids, not all of them his other than that he chose to take them in, a mail man who works more than the standard 40 hours a week.
All the time he's owned this site--about eight years, maybe--he's never asked for a cent of help in running it; he bears all expenses himself, including the new servers and the monthly charges. All out of his own pocket.
Because he's doing this as a favor, we don't like to impose on him any more than what is necessary. I forget the deal with youtube videos, other than that it was a big problem, and the choice was either to spend a lot of time fixing it--after which it'd soon be broken again, as conservativecave attracts a lot of weird, twisted Democrats who like to maliciously tamper with this site--or to just let it be, and use the links.
It's not as pretty as the youtube presentation, but it does link.

As a side note, a bit off topic: Bitchute and Rumble are the new places to go instead of Youtube.
