How can the Palin selection be viewed as anything but cynical and manipulative?

Is America going to buy this bullshit? "Oh, we need the womens vote! Let's get our own Hillary to woo those Dems!" No one has ever heard of Palin, and we're supposed to believe she is the best choice in America to be Commander In Chief when McAlzeimers starts quoting asparagus and declaring war on Yugoslavia? Come on. Week pick, McLame. It shows that you're even more out of touch than we already figured.

3. Hillary's going to destroy her!

Seriously.

I can just hear her disbelieving comments on TV shows and at rallies from now to November.

"A beauty queen with NO experience, who'd shown NO desire to step outside one of the smallest states in the union. And we are supposed to buy her as being tested and ready to assume the mantle of President of the United States should John McCain's health fail him?"

And that's not to mention Joe Biden crushing her into dust in the debate.

It's a pretty small bonfire; Pedro Picasso must have had to get back to stuffing envelopes for mailing for political causes.

The reality is Hillary Clinton will have to choose her words about Sarah Palin carefully.  Clinton runs the risk of pointing out her own faults inside the content of attempts to dissect Gov. Palin.  When push comes to shove, what has Hillary Clinton done?  She carpetbagged her way into the senate and has done precious little of substance since.

One more thing:  Has anyone considered what a Vice-President Palin will do to Pelosi's Queen of Washington status?  Nancy Pelosi has to be beside herself.

I do not believe Governor Palin has anything like to fear. The Beast is looking forward to a catfight with her in 2012. The only thought The Beast has about Palin right now is "I'd hit that".

You know, my impression is that the worthier Democrat candidate isn't going to have much to say about this at all.

My impression is that the worthier Democrat candidate is just going to make a few lukewarm speeches for Barry "Goldwater" Obama, nothing more.

The worthier Democrat candidate probably of course has some private thoughts about this choice, but my impression is she won't express those on behalf of Barry "Goldwater" Obama.

And the Obamaites and Obamaite primitives have only themselves to blame, having been rude and abusive and Hate-filled towards the worthier Democrat candidate and her supporters.

Joe Biden has been squelched as of this morning. His debate strategy just changed about 175 degrees. ANYTHING he does to ridicule Palin's supposed lack of experience will get reflected back onto Obama. Any fire and brimstone he shows at the debates will come off as a sexist Washington insider beating up on a woman, and besides, she's married to someone who's five times the man that Biden or Obama is.

I still believe Billary will take a backseat in this campaign season.  They have nothing to gain by participating unless they've worked out some backroom deal for appointments, and I can't imagine any appointment that's worth having to her or him.  She'd rather have a shot for president in 2012.

Thyroid Case Pelosi and the rest of the Washington Dems just experienced a serious end-around by McCain.

No woman in Washington can credibly downplay Palin, lest those words come back to haunt them when Hillary tries to run in 2012.

Also, last night McCain was on television, telling Obama, "Well done!" How will the Dems look if they say boo about Palin? Pretty bad.

They'll do it anyway, of course. Sexism is about to make a HUGE comeback on left-wing TV, as if it ever left.

I will PayPal $10 to the first person who finds a post on DU, Kos, or Huffington that refers to Palin as a "c***." It's coming, if it's not there already.

Special note to Hillary: better hit the treadmill, Pantsuit. The competition just got tougher.

I'm looking forward to watching Bela Pelosi choke on her tongue when she has to address Sarah Palin as "Madam President".
