The trial for an 18-year-old from Illinois accused of killing two people and wounding a third during a protest against police brutality in Wisconsin was pushed back Wednesday by seven months and could be delayed even longer.
Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial was scheduled to begin March 29, but both sides told a judge that they needed more time to prepare. Kenosha County Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder set a Nov. 1 trial start date, with a May 17 status hearing.

I think it's gonna depend on the DA and whether or not he's been bought and sold by George Soros.
There's no indication that I've been able to find that Michael D. Graveley, the DA for Kenosha County, is one of those cretins that got into office by virtue of Soros, but as WI is a blue state and Kenosha is a larger city within WI, I assume nothing.
Soros is vermin, and his offspring (ready to take over when Daddy croaks) are even worse.

The prosecutors only have the scaffolding of a crime (a timeline). Not a crime.
It's up to them to prove the charges have merit. But they're working-from a video assortment which only show the kid 'reacting'... so it's hard to make a good-or-bad judgement about the delay.

This is just me, but: If the prosecutor was so certain of his case, I think he'd be pushing forward with all haste.
I think he's stalling, hoping to wear-down Rittenhouse and his family emotionally and/or financially. He already tried to have bail revoked/increased to $2 million but the judge swatted that one away which is code-speak for "No, I do NOT believe the defendant poses a flight risk - or a risk to the community."

This meme got me another 30 days in the facebook gulag. (https://preview.redd.it/68b1sdxz51k51.jpg?auto=webp&s=aa2c9dc411cb6561ad76dbbc5d007c75569d64b7)
I posted it over a year ago. I had not even finished my last 30 day sentence. It's become a game to see how sensitive they are.

Since you're such an habitual offender, when are they gonna just cancel you? :rotf:

I got banned for saying that "Karen is a racist term applied to white women acting like a bitch". I didn't even call anyone a Karen. They claimed it was against their "bullying" guidelines.

I got banned when some guy said, "I bet you voted for Trump. No wonder you so retard."
I corrected him by saying, "I think you meant to say 'so retarded.'"
Of course the original tweet was allowed to stay.

They are one-sided and they don't try to hide it any more.

Correcting the retards is viewed as bullying. Being a retard itself (and wallowing in it) isn't a problem at all, apparently.

You're PERMANENTLY banned? Or just thrown in the gulag for a while?
The Brownshirts are so predictable. Not.

I got a 30 day sentence for the Karen comment, then with 4 days left, they gave me another 30 day time out for a meme calling Kyle Rittenhouse , community policing. Today I received another notice that they covered one of pictures for sensitive content. It was a meme about gun control and how government controlling the guns isn't a good idea.

Judge dismissing prosecution motions in Rittenhouse hearing, including two linking to Proud Boys
https://justthenews.com/government/courts-law/judge-dismissing-prosecution-motions-rittenhouse-hearing-including-two
A Wisconsin judge has denied several motions by prosecutors who've charged teen Kyle Rittenhouse in connection with two fatal shootings during the summer 2020 social justice protests, including their plan to include photos of the teen posing with members of the Proud Boys.
Judge Bruce Schroeder denied the motions Friday.
Prosecutors want to depict Rittenhouse as a lawless and violent vigilante. So at the trial they want to use events before and after the shooting under the category of "other acts," according to CBS-58 News in Wisconsin.
The judge also dismissed a motion to include in the scheduled Nov. 1 trial information about the defendant meeting in Miami with leaders of the Proud Boys, a far-right group.
Prosecutors cannot show that Kyle Rittenhouse has connection with Proud Boys. He goes to trial in November.

I've heard that he was introduced to the Proud Boys by his lawyer at the time, John Pierce (whom he has since let go). Pierce is/was representing some of the people charged in connection with January 6th, calling them "revolutionaries" (which of course plays right into the democrats' talk of "insurrection"). Last I heard, Pierce is AWOL, possibly with COVID.
