Yep. Gas prices have gone up 75 cents per gallon in my area, since roughly September. Started going up before the election, probably due to production cuts -- gas was TOO cheap.
No doubt President Asterisk's EO to shut down Keystone plays a big part in this spike.

Most of the retail stuff you can attribute to some thing else but the price of gasoline is simply supply and demand. Added demand and still restricted supply along with the four largest refineries on the gulf coast going off line for “several weeks” due to the ice storm. Many stations in Texas still did not has anything in the tank last Wednesday.

No kidding. I picked up a rider last weekend who just moved here from Cali, and he was impressed with our 2.19 a gallon. Said it was close to 4 bucks when he left. Sadly now we are at 2.49-2.59 in the Metroplex. :banghead:
