In the midst of all the media hysteria over President Trump's CPAC speech in Orlando which, in reality is the State Of Union speech that poor Joe Biden is unable to deliver, we got this very grudging yet revealing admission by Jane Timm of NBC News that President Trump who initiated the miraculous Operation Warp Speed deserves "a little credit" for the development of the Covid vaccine. Of course, since this is coming from a news source highly antagonistic towards President Trump, this really means he should be given full credit. Just imagine if poor Joe Schmo had been in charge of developing the vaccine. The result would have been a bureaucratic nightmare. Operation Going Nowhere? Instead, with Operation Warp Speed President Trump achieved what most of his naysayers said was impossible: the development of effective Covid vaccines before the end of 2020.

That must have been extremely painful for her and her "news" organization to admit.

The DUmmies and the left in general default to the position that President Trump had nothing to do with the development of the vaccine because he is not an expert in virology and immunology, but what they what they fail or refuse to understand is that President Trump's business background  made him the right man to be in charge in 2020.

Look at all the high rise buildings that the Trump Organization has built over the decades.  Donald Trump was not the man pouring concrete, or setting steel beams or running the miles of electrical cabling on these projects.  He had experts in  their fields do this under his direction and control.  He worked with the local governments to get the permits and ran interference when bureaucracy threatened to slow down or stop the construction so that his experts could do their jobs and finish the project on time.

Had a career politician like hillary or biden been in the White House in 2020, there would have been endless meetings, focus groups and discussions to decide what to name the vaccine that would be gender neutral and acceptable to persons of all sexual orientations who will receive the vaccine.  Then they would demand that minority or female owned biotech companies be given preference as the vendor of choice for developing the vaccine regardless of their experience in such matters.  Then there would have been more delays as the various politicians fought to get production facilities for the vaccine moved into their district as a "gift" to their donors.

President Trump issued the simple order "go forth and develop a safe and effective vaccine at warp speed for the benefit of all Americans and the world.  Get back with me if you encounter any roadblocks or obstacles in your way, but just get it done".

And it got done.

"A little credit"?! Of the three vaccines currently approved for use in the US, two - Moderna and J & J - received significant Federal funding for development and testing! All three received Fast-Track status from the FDA. Trump negotiated conditional purchase contracts under which Trump purchased 200M doses each from P and M (Biden has purchased another 100M doses each, under the contract Trump negotiated), and when J & J received EUA a 100M dose (plus options) contract negotiated by Trump went into effect (the same will happen in a month or two if Novavax receives EUA).

At this point, Biden has had little or no effect in US vaccination progress! All credit should go to the manufacturers who worked, in varying degrees, with Trump, and to Trump and team who set and met a very aggressive goal (a goal neither Hillary nor Biden would have imagined!).
