Closing The Loopholes That Gave Us The Trump Administration....
I thought that after the Dems reclaimed the WH and control of the Senate & House - that they would move to close all the loopholes that Trump & the Repugs exploited over the last 4 yrs to destroy our government.
Instead I'm hearing about all the legislation being considered and passed around the country in Repug controlled States to further suppress votes, control elections and push this country closer to fascism.
Instead It looks like the Repugs are the ones that are doing the tweaking so they can create new loopholes in order to regain control and continue down the path to a fascist government.
I thought I'd feel much better now that Trump is no longer in the WH & Moscow Mitch is relegated to a minority role. I thought I'd sleep better and be less stressed.
However, now I feel even more stressed about the fragile situation we find ourselves in.
Anyone out there have the same nightmares as I?
Do you not understand the difference between Federal and State powers?

This is why grassroots actions are so important. We approved bi-partisan redistricting in Michigan, this is a crucial time.
Dan Kildee is my representative he has been warning us this is not the time for complacency, it’s time to get very active.
I wanted to say “time to fight” but in the light of current events...(slide whistle sound going down).

Pure projection and lies on the part of the DUmmies. Democrats are trying to make this country into a one party communist controlled shithole.
Allow illegals a path to voting.
Allow Puerto Rico to become a state.
Allow DC to become a state.
Pack the USSC to rubber stamp illegal laws.
Stop all opposition speech and reporting.
Many other plans in the works by the Democrats.

These new voter suppression laws are most disturbing
and worrisome.
I've tried for years to figure out how requiring proof of identity to vote is "voter suppression". You have to show an ID to buy alcohol or tobacco. You sometimes have to show ID to cash checks. Apparently you have to show proof of identity to get government assistance.
