From what I gather, most, if not all, of the 44 Repubs who had voted against this colossal waste of time got up and left that chambers during the idiotic, lying presentations of the Dem "managers" at one time or another.

Case in point - Sicknick was not "murdered." He died on 7 January, a full day after his involvement at the Capitol building. No evidence of physical trauma (meaning he wasn't clobbered with a fire extinguisher) of any sort. Whatever and however he died is not being shared right now, but Liu's assertion that he Sicknick was "murdered" is a flat-out lie.

One can hear only so many lies from a braying donkey before one concludes that the donkey is an f'n liar.
