Gotta get those votes any way you can.

Illinois, California and a couple of other states already do that. They were already solid blue, but doing this in PA is just another step in making this one party rule.

let me guess. Motor voter automatically registers them to vote when they get their license, right?
Of course the morons pushing this will say it won't but we will find out later that it did register these thru a "glitch" in the system and it is a big job to weed out those who shouldn't be registered, the hub bub will die down and the matter will get lost in the weeds and the next election will have a whole new crop of non eligible registered voters and nobody will bother to listen to the voices calling for an audit.
Orrrrrr, they could just honor our nation's immigration laws and stop providing all these side perks for people who have no respect for our National Sovereignty.

Hundreds of non-citizens registered to vote in Illinois due to technical glitch
CHICAGO — Illinois lawmakers are raising questions about the integrity of state elections after the secretary of state admitted hundreds of non-citizens were registered as voters, and could have cast ballots illegally in the 2018 election.
In a letter, Secretary of State Jesse White’s office said a “programming error” in a signature pad at driver services facilities led to hundreds of non-U.S. citizens accidentally being registered as voters.
The Secretary of State’s Office said the problem has been fixed Tuesday, but state lawmakers and election authorities are just beginning to raise concerns.
“We view it as a significant problem,” said Matt Dietrich of the Illinois State Board Of Elections.
In 2017, then-governor Bruce Rauner signed the “Automatic Voter Registration” bill into law. It requires eligible Illinois citizens to be automatically registered to vote when they apply for or renew a driver’s license or ID, unless they choose to opt out.
Rauner was supposedly a republican.

California’s rollout of automatic voter registration didn’t go as planned.
It seemed like a good idea: Cut the bureaucracy by adding voters automatically and welcome more residents to political participation. Since April 2018, when California residents go to the Department of Motor Vehicles to register a car or get a license, they are added to the state voter rolls — unless they opt out.
But DMV officials later found more than 100,000 registration errors in the first year, including some voters registered to the wrong party. And at least one noncitizen (state officials still are investigating how many in total) was accidentally signed up — a significant error since noncitizens aren’t allowed to vote.

The dmv can barely can't even do their basic job of registering cars and issuing driver's licenses and they have no business gumming up the works by including voter registration in their area of responsibility.
Voting is a right to all legal citizens living here but shouldn't be blindly thrust upon people merely because they have business at the dmv. If you want to be involved and make a change with your vote, then do the extra work and register yourself to vote. Every unqualified voter who gets "accidently" registered and fraudulently votes in an election dilutes the votes of legal voters.

We are long past the time when English is declared the official language of government and the people. Forget that shit of putting driver exams in Spanish, or French, or Swahili.
If you can't speak enough English to pass a driver's exam, you don't drive. Simple as that.
