How 'naked ballots' in Pennsylvania could cost Joe Biden the election
The state Supreme Court in Pennsylvania, a critical battleground state that’s seen as increasingly likely to determine who wins the White House, last week ordered officials to throw out “naked ballots” — mail ballots that arrive without inner “secrecy envelopes.” Pennsylvania uses a two-envelope mail ballot system: A completed ballot goes into a “secrecy envelope” that has no identifying information, and then into a larger mailing envelope that the voter signs.
It’s unclear how many naked ballots there will be, because this is the first year any Pennsylvania voter can vote by mail, and most counties counted them in the June primary without tracking how many there were.
But Philadelphia’s top elections official warned Monday that the court’s ruling “is going to cause electoral chaos,” lead to tens of thousands of votes being thrown out, and put the state at the center of “significant postelection legal controversy, the likes of which we have not seen since Florida in 2000.”
The decision ordering them thrown out was part of a trio of rulings Thursday that, among other things, extended the deadline for voters to send mail ballots back, permitted the use of drop boxes for voters to return them, and removed the Green Party’s presidential ticket from the ballot.

1. At least the other aspects of the rulings are good.
There should be no reason it's so hard to vote.
The only way to get around all of these GOP voter suppression tactics at this point is to make sure voters are informed in each state and locality on how exactly to vote so their vote is counted.
Voting isn't hard. You go to your county and register, get your voter registration card, show up at the polling place for your precinct, show your ID and sign your name next to your registered address, go into the booth and pull the lever (or however your county does it), then you leave ...
What is so hard about that? OH, you are talking about the processes your side wanted put in at the LAST MINUTE, the stuff no one has ever done in most of these states ... sorry, can't help you there. You should take that up with your people.

Blast it on the airwaves and on social media. Send everybody in the state a mailer about naked ballots.
That's he whole thread so far, but I've watched a bunch of them over there where they are all bemoaning the mail in ballots they were all clamoring for like this is somehow the fault of the people who are telling them to vote in person.

Since 2000 we've been hearing this shit. If your party is suffers disproportionately from being unable to
* find a polling station
* getting a common form of ID
* using a punch card
* placing a piece of paper in a secrecy sleeve
maybe your party relies too heavily on idiots.

Is it really that hard to place your ballot inside the secrecy envelope that comes with your mail in ballot?
If so, then perhaps you should take it easy and sit this election out. Wouldn't want to over work you and all that...

I've voted by post a few times and we have the same sort of thing with a double envelope to preserve secrecy - to put it bluntly if you're too stupid to figure out how it works, then you're too stupid to cast a meaningful vote.

No, we are far enough away, about 30 miles, but the smoke was horrible. It was in the hazardous range but I still had to work in it.
