If the House impeached him again....?
And held up the Articles of Impeachment until after the Election, what would be the impact?
What if the Democrats take the Senate but Trump keeps the White House?
Could that be leverage for the Democrats?
I understand that is a lot of "what ifs" but it is not impossible.
Is that too "hard ball" for the Democrats?
:thatsright:

Impeached on what charges? You DUmmies have come to see impeachment as a regular every day tool to use to reverse the results of an election you didn't like, not a serious matter to be used only under the most dire circumstances where the survival of the Country is at risk.

If Biden won, none, because the issue would be mooted by the election. Is Star Moron kentuck less than confident of a Biden victory? :rotf:
If Trump won but the Dems got the majority in the Senate and kept a majority in the House, none. Because the Dems would not get the 67 votes necessary to remove Trump.
Now for SVPete's not-so-Wild-Ass guesses ... if the House impeached Trump again:
* Impeaching Trump while his administration is still fighting Covid-19 will not play well outside of Loony-Blue strongholds;
* Wasting more time and $$ on another doomed-to-fail Shampeachment will not play well outside of Loony-Blue strongholds;
* Either Trump's legal team would SHRED the House Shampeachment Manglers or the Dem Senate leaders would silence Trump's legal team, lose-lose alternatives for the Dems outside of Loony-Blue strongholds.
A year ago I thought Miss Nancy and her lapdog House-Dems smart enough to realize all that and restrain their hatred. But they proved me wrong, so  . As entertaining as a Shampeachment 2.0 process would be, I think it would be very unhealthy for the country. :old: (my beard isn't that long, but it is white :-) )

NO. Next question.

1., You have to have Articles to hold the impeachment vote. The House can't just vote 'Impeached for reasons yet to be determined.'
2. F*** around and find out what happens.

I am already on record ssying from now on EVERY TIME the House is the opposite party as POTUS there will be a POTUS impeachment. Every time. And THAT is the result of the 100% political impeachment of Trump.
-
For what?
Do you doubt their willingness to invent frivolous charges?

I'll see your Schifftyroo and raise you a Mad Maxine.

The articles of impeachment: Filling vacancies in accordance with the constitution. The peaceful transfer of power. Maintaining continuity of government.
-
Or even have charges?
Charges? They don't need no stinking charges! Just lingering persistent and perpetual butt hurt. Emotional children.

Hate to disagree with you but the gopE will never impeach a demo-commie president again. Now every time there is a republican president and donkey HOR, there will be an impeachment.. maybe up to 3 impeachments per term.

Hopefully, it will make the House majority that Kevin McCarthy is going to get that much bigger. While most individuals with the mental power of an earthworm, or above, realizes that there is no law against replacing a SCOTUS Justice leading up to an election, the Dems have to throw whatever they can at Trump to stop him. It’s not going to work. Over and over, one thing that Donald Trump has proven is that just when you think he’s beaten, he rises from the ashes like a Phoenix and kicks your ass. So it will be again.

I don't think conservatives would try to impeach a Democrat president unless that president acted in a way that deserved being impeached.

They're mad with power.

They're mad with a thirst for power.
FIFY. They don't have power right now.

...
Unless I missed something, that is not what the USC says.

Of course. They are so determined to get Trump. Such futility.
-
Is anything beneath the democrats?
Nope. Well, RBG has gone deeper than most of them but I digress.

She'll still vote in November though...

Hi5. It's not funny because it's true.
-
I would love to see what happens in the house elections if the dems try another impeachment. And by all means, dems, feel free to advertise right before an election that you're going to pack the courts and enact all your other sick power fantasies.
-
For what?
Abuse of Twitter?

Exactly. President Trump's defense team would merely have to cite Article 2, section 2, clause 2 of the US Constitution then rest their case.
Article II
Section 2
Clause 2
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

McCarthy threatens motion to oust Pelosi if she tries to impeach Trump to delay SCOTUS confirmation
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mccarthy-motion-oust-pelosi-impeachment-trump
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., threatened on Wednesday to introduce a motion to oust Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., if she attempts to bring forth a second round of impeachment charges as a way to prevent the Senate from confirming President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.
Pelosi has declined to rule out impeachment as an option to stop Trump’s court pick from being confirmed to the bench, arguning that Democrats will “use every arrow in our quiver” to block the eventual nominee.
“I will make you this one promise, listening to the speaker on television this weekend, if she tries to move for an impeachment based upon the president following the Constitution, I think there will be a move on the floor to no longer have the question of her being Speaker. She may think she has a quiver — we do too,” McCarthy told reporters Wednesday.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is introducing to ouster Speaker Nancy Pelosi if she follows through the second impeachment.
Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., has spearheaded the effort to remove Pelosi.
"Thanks to our efforts, House Republican leadership allowed us to bring this proposal for debate within our conference. I have spent many hours over the last few weeks, strategizing with my colleagues and talking to them about the necessity of taking this action," he said in a statement. "Most Republican Members of Congress wholeheartedly agree that Nancy Pelosi must be removed as Speaker of the House."
Democrats have embarked on a crusade to block Trump and Republicans from moving to fill the SCOTUS seat that was vacated following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has promised to move forward with a vote to confirm the president's nominee before the election, and Trump will announce his pick Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. Trump has said his choice will be a woman and that his list is down to five contenders.

Speaker Pelosi may not have the votes to Shampeach Trump against, but I seriously doubt any Dems would vote to oust her. If the Dems retain their House majority, maybe they'll ditch her in January.
