If you aren't already, please boycott Home Depot
The CEO of Home Depot is a big Trump supporter, and major contributor to a pro-Trump SuperPAC that is airing anti- Biden ads in battleground states to make up for the campaign’s lack of funding for TV ads.

1. Fiendish Thingy....
I'm already boycotting them and tell everyone I know to but thanks for the reminder.

4. He's the founder and former CEO
Hasn't been for nearly 20 years.
That said, don't shop there because their staff is rude and unhelpful. Lowe's are much nicer, and Ace has been the biggest help during our current home improvement projects...

18. I have had the same problem at Lowe's as well.
I went to buy a refrigerator. I waited 35 minutes before I could get someone to help me. I was only there because I got fed up waiting at the Home Depot. Those are my only two choices for buying appliances in the hellhole where I live. They are both awful.

10. I have a friend who worked with a real conservative, right wing nut job who was also....
....an inveterate do it yourselfer. My friend told him that Home Depot was a left leaning company that gave to liberal causes and Lowe's contributed to conservatives - the exact opposite of the truth. His co-worker swore that he would never go to Home Depot again and shopped at Lowe's for the next year. My friend said that he found himself enjoying this assholes Monday morning stories more than usual.

12. It seems like most owners are trump supporters
I could avoid HD, but then I'd just go to another hardware store run by a different trump supporter.

20. K&R, How are black & brown people supposed to feel about a CEO supporting an openly racist person?
I know I would not think I had a fair chance at a company like that.

Well, dang! :rotf: Does that mean Home Depot can't anticipate the business growth CfA got after Proggies boycotted them? :rotf:  Here in Silicon Valley CfA went from the nearest CfC being 2 hours' drive away (Fairfield) to having 6 CfA locations in Silicon Valley  (8, if the Fremont locations are included, and 9, if the Redwood City location is also included).
 I think the Hobby Lobby in Morgan Hill is doing well, too.

Successful business owners who don't support pols who see them as $$-cows to be milked into bankruptcy? Shocking!

Being a business owner, I think all of them are crooked and need to mind their own business
