Should Joe Biden give a speech on the civil unrest and rioting in our cities?

Could he draw a contrast with the guy in the White House who has said nothing productive to resolve the problems?

Could he state the difference between "peaceful protests" and rioting, looting, and destruction of private property?

Could he inform the citizens of this country about the systemic racism in many police departments and the need for police reforms?

Could he inform the citizens of this country that police brutality against any of our citizens must end? We must have equal justice under the law.

Would it look presidential for him to give such a speech? Or would it be too much of a political gamble to take?

Even kentuck, as stupid as he is, realizes that democrats have screwed up big time in their response to the riots going on all over the country.  It's probably too late to do anything about it, but at least kentuck wants the democrats to try something--the usual lies and Trump blaming, no doubt, but at least that's something.  But then there's this other primitive:

6. What "civil unrest and rioting in our cities"?

Please don't describe isolated incidents - very isolated and mostly engaged in by people unrelated to the protests and likely connected to right wingers - using the coded language provided by Trump.

What civil unrest and rioting in our cities?  Really?

This primitive has succeeded in making kentuck look smart.

I like the StarfishSaver primitives answer of "Ignore it and it will go away" approach. The Dems need to wrap their arms around that and hold on with all their might.

This is typical leftist deception.

The unrest and rioting aren't happening, and if they are happening, it's in Trump's America.

Portland, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc...are cities run by democrats, in democrat run states. If there is "systemic" racism, the democrats caused it or did nothing to prevent it.

These violent protesters are ruining any chance Joe had of winning and the DUmmies are just now starting to realize it.  This is the main reason Joe has left the basement and it's going to be glorious when he gets wound up in front of a bunch of cameras and starts doing what Joe does ... being incoherent.  He can't hide it any longer.  His days in the basement are over because the polls have swung enough (visibly, we know there are many who will not proclaim Trump who WILL vote for him) that his team had to pull him out of the basement.  This is a real sign of desperation.

Better questions:

Could he talk about how deceptive media coverage and rumor-mongering have contributed to and exacerbated the violence?

Could he talk about how it was wrong for democrats to decide they don't have to coexist with other human beings because Hillary Clinton didn't win?

Could he talk about how the democrats created division by otherizing Trump supporters as "cultists" and "fascists"?

Could he talk about the inconsistency of faulting Trump for the violence while refusing to cooperate with him to stop the violence?

Could he talk about how the left's knee-jerk reactions to various shootings has inflamed tensions?

Could he talk about the democrats' inability to condemn ANTIFA or anyone else on the left who instigates violence?

Is he bold enough to give such a speech, or is he too much of a coward and a stooge?

This reminded me of another post over there today:

A key series of questions to ask of #MAGA
"Do you like it when someone lies to you?" (answer should be 'no')

"Do you tend to give someone a 2nd or even 3rd chance?" (answer is probably 'yes')

"What if this person lied so much that it was constant?
What if you knew, deep down, that this person was untrustworthy, worse than a used-car salesman from 30 years ago?
What if this person let you down time and time again?

Would you still put your faith and trust in that person or look elsewhere for guidance?"

If the answer to that LAST question is STILL 'Yes', then that person is gone. Too far gone. Beyond the point of repair.

It has zero (0) replies, even DUmmies know not to touch this with ten foot pole.

I don't think there was any reason to malign used car salesmen btw. :rotf:   Honest Joe?   :lmao:   Sounds like a bad Beverly Hillbillies Episode.
