Please amplify the Portland story of tyranny any place, any way you can.
This should be the top story everywhere today.
News isn't catching up fast enough to make our horror known.
I'm begging you, because it's coming to other cities as well, soon.
This is the beginning of the overt putsch.
Be the one who carries the news and spreads the alarm.
Not enough dead leftists in my opinion...

2. What are the best sources for info? It's so bizarre I can't get a handle on what's real or maybe hyp
I’d like to let people know with more than just a tweet. My apologies if this has been discussed already . I’m just checking in here today and I haven’t seen anything in main stream media
Thanks

4. Here's the original story

Federal Law Enforcement Use Unmarked Vehicles To Grab Protesters Off Portland Streets
:whatever:
Mark Pettibone and his friend Conner O’Shea decided to head home.
bumped into a group of people who warned them that people in camouflage were driving around the area in unmarked minivans grabbing people off the street.
“I see guys in camo,” O’Shea said. “Four or five of them pop out, open the door and it was just like, ‘Oh shit. I don’t know who you are or what you want with us.’”
The tactic appears to be another escalation in federal force deployed on Portland city streets, as federal officials and President Donald Trump have said they plan to “quell” nightly protests outside the federal courthouse
officers are also detaining people on Portland streets who aren’t near federal property, nor is it clear that all of the people being arrested have engaged in criminal activity. Demonstrators like O’Shea and Pettibone said they think they were targeted by federal officers for simply wearing black clothing in the area of the demonstration.

Pettibone did not escape the federal officers.
“I am basically tossed into the van,” Pettibone said. “And I had my beanie pulled over my face so I couldn’t see and they held my hands over my head.”
Pettibone and O’Shea both said they couldn’t think of anything they might have done to end up targeted by law enforcement.
“I just happened to be wearing black on a sidewalk in downtown Portland at the time,” Pettibone said. “And that apparently is grounds for detaining me.”

16. Yes, Brian Williams was on too
as was a reporter in Portland who's been covering it for I think they said PBS for over a month.
He reported someone who was snatched at 2 in the morning, taken to a federal building for a couple hours, read his rights, and asked for a lawyer. At that point, he said, the interview stopped and he was released with no paperwork of the detention. The reporter said he didn't know who detained him, or if he has been charged with anything, and doesn't know who to identify as responsible for the incident.
Crazy. Nicole Wallace says they'll be on it, and Brian Williams at 11pm also.

13. Trump's gestapo in action.
Does anyone know the specific federal law(s) that give Trump the authority to send federal police forces to a state against a governor’s orders? I thought the feds had to be invited in.

21. This is a test. It worked, and now it will spread to other cities.
Unless something drastic happens to make them stop, this is the beginning of the end. They are executing their plan in broad daylight.
There can be no more peaceful protest if you are on the left. We have been demonized and animalized to the point that our rights are no longer valid.
Trumps call for 2A activist to swarm dem controlled state government buildings recently was a test to see if he could gather forces quickly for help if needed from his base. It worked.
When trump loses, expect it to get much worse. Hell, expect it to get much worse over the next month.
There are no checks and balances anymore. The scales of justice have tipped.
I hope I am wrong.

They are upset when there are consequences for thier actions.
It is nice to see some of them take some lumps.
If more of that happened the chicken shit candy asses would stay home.
Without their mob they are just a bunch of pussies.

It sounds like they have no idea how police work is conducted (as if we needed more evidence of that). Police use unmarked vehicles. It's so criminals don't run when they see a marked car. Duh. Also, I'm guessing the authorities have been watching the riots and have identified people associated with them (when possible). Also duh.
-
The arresting officers were not in plain clothes, not that it would signify anything if they were. Their clothes were marked "Police" in large letters, and some had DHS patches. As for the unmarked cars, why tip off the thugs and give them a chance to attack the cars? Unmarked vehicles and officers in plain clothes are all normal police usage.
The Feds gave the Mayor of Portland well over a month to clean up, and finally acted. Frankly, I hope the Mayor of Portland tries to do more than just whiiiii-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-iiiiiiine!
-
Oh my.
The grasswire primitive Judy, the pie-and-jam primitive, who surely must be 80 years old by now.
-
When the Mayor and Governor have decided they're not going to do anything, and just catch-and-release anyone a cop screws up by actually arresting, there is still the Fed government to arrest and charge the dirtbags for Federal violations.
-
The silent Trump vote keeps growing.

Breaking the windows of a federal courthouse, trying to burn it down, shooting rocks at the federal officers inside--sounds illegal to me. And check out the picture at the link of all the spray painted graffiti.
Later, demonstrators broke into the north side doors of the Justice Center on Southwest Main Street before moving back to Southwest 3rd Avenue and breaking the glass doors on the federal courthouse building.
Police said demonstrators broke windows and started a fire inside the federal courthouse building in downtown Portland the night of July 2, 2020 and in the early morning hours. KATU photo
Federal officers inside the courthouse came outside at around 11:45 p.m. Police said demonstrators used slingshots to launch rocks, full cans, and bottles at the officers. They said the demonstrators also threw lit fireworks inside the broken glass doors of the federal courthouse and set a fire on Southwest Main Street.

Exactly. Those were crimes against Federal property, hence the Feds has the jurisdiction to enforce laws.
More generally, when the mayor (or governor) lets things run riot for weeks as Portland's mayor has, the Insurrection Act also gives the President authority to act.
-
Walking around in black with a helmet and a backpack at 2 am couldnt possibly be tied to rioting
-
Personally I don't think they should be arresting them, they should just beat the living shit out of them and leave them in a bloody heap of broken bones. Let soros or their mommies clean them up.
Then they will learn a lesson that their actions have consequences.

I think any person positively identified being involved in vandalism who is also receiving ANY type of federal monetary assistance, should immediately be removed from those rolls. At the very least until restitution is paid.

I've advocated that for quite a while now, after I finally figured out the protesters probably don't have jobs, which gives them time to run rampant in the streets. I'll bet that damned near all of them are living off of student loans, social security disability, food stamps, Medicaid, and other of our generous welfare programs.

That's my thoughts on it as well. There may be a smattering of them who were laid off due to COVID and are living high on the hog with the extra $600/week. I'd out them to their employer so they could cut off the UE they were getting. ALL of it, not just the extra $600/week.
